Four students allegedly have sex in classroom while fifth acts as lookout

• Four children charged with obscenity, fifth with being an accessory
• Teacher who was to supervise class went to assembly instead
• Word of incident passes from students to teacher to sheriff's office

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana (AP) -- Five fifth-grade students face criminal charges after authorities said four of them had sex in front of other students in an unsupervised classroom and kept a classmate posted as a lookout for teachers.

The students were arrested Tuesday at the Spearsville school in rural north Louisiana, authorities said. Two 11-year-old girls, a 12-year-old boy and a 13-year old boy were charged with obscenity, a felony. An 11-year-old boy, the alleged lookout, was charged with being an accessory.

"After 44 years of doing this work, nothing shocks me anymore," said Union Parish Sheriff Bob Buckley. "But this comes pretty close."

Well, at least this isn't the weekly "Female teacher has sex with students" thread.

My niece was 12 when she started the 7th grade. I take it these kids are too busy focusing on sex ed than graduating a grade?

I lost my virginity at 13, but at least it wasn't in school, it was in the bed of someone who was paying her to watch their kids.

I also knew a girl who was pregnant at 12, by the thirty-something security guard at the dollar movie theater. She was kinda cute, too, and I found out years later she had a crush on me. Which would've been great, but she had a kid.

Lucky they were in Louisiana. In most states, you'd have the rather silly proposition of charging all of them with statutory rape or the equivalent.

It's endlessly amazing to me that people just cannot remember at all what it's like to be young. We just become adults and then get brainwashed into some mindset that we were asexual before we turned 16.

Really, these kids were just very progressive and ready to get into swinging and orgies earlier than most. The main caution we should be giving them is that they're going to be terribly bored by the time they hit 25 because they'll have tried everything already...right BT?

Yes, but it's even worse than that. Somehow when I first read the story I totally missed that they were in front of other students. Well that makes things totally different, doesn't it? I mean, I found the story to be a touching tale of discovery at first glance, but, now that I've actually bothered to read it, I've gotta say, these kids are prodigious. Having bare-genitaled intercourse in front of an audience is something usually only **** stars get to do. To pull it off in front of a captive audience, well that's just brilliant.

No, the real problem these capricious little buckaroos now face is that they have peaked, or climaxed, if you will, too early in life. How would one ever top this? Examples, please, graphic ones.

I pretty much was, actually. I didn't even like french kissing. I still played with dolls and ring-around-the-rosie at fourteen.

Then I moved to the US.

I now remember an "incident" in 5th grade where one guy and and this one girl were "going together." Our classroom had a room set up as a dark room because we were learning about photography at the time. But the guy and his girl went into the darkroom together and Frenched and he felt her up. *gasp* Quite a scandal I remember when everyone heard about it.

By the time we were in 8th grade, my boyfriend cheated on me with a couple of other girls because one would go down on him and the other actually had sex with him.

All due respect to your childhood, it's sort of tough to 'cheat' on someone you're not banging.

Just saying.

Well, to be fair they only allegedly had an orgy in their classroom in front of their classmates. O.J. got off, why can't they too get off?
