I vaguely rmember being a teenage delinquent, skipping school and sitting on my pal's couch in a marijuana-induced haze, watching Fox News for the car chases and stand-offs resulting in structure fires. I miss that level of relevant reporting. Kudos to CNN for reviving this almost forgotten art.

It was on the tube while I was eating lunch. The dude dragged her up the escalator by her hair and then proceded to shoot her in the face.

Apparently she was a worker at the Omni hotel which is attached to the CNN center and may have been pregnant (but this has not been confirmed, she very well could just have a pot belly).

And the Lords of Karma have had their way with the shooter: The mall security guard apparently shot him in the face.

I too work at a hotel. I think at the manager's meeting tomorrow I'll lobby for kevlar suits for the line staff. Can't be too careful these days.

If you're going to shoot someone, really, why pussyfoot around? Just shoot 'em in the face. Even if it doesn't kill them, they'll be very freaked out and probably too blinded by their own blood to see you to retaliate.
