A gunman opened fire outside a private party after the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in West Los Angeles early Sunday, wounding three men and scattering about 200 partygoers across the neighborhood, police said.
The shooting took place about 12:30 a.m. on a commercial strip near Pico and La Cienega boulevards when the gunman, angry that security personnel had denied him entry into the party, fired several rounds from a handgun into the crowd before fleeing, said Los Angeles Police Lt. Roger Deranian.
