Buddhism is not a philosophy.
Buddhism is not a religion.
Buddhism is a pattern of habits.
Buddhists do not ask theological or metaphysical questions. They do not ask the question of God. They do not ask the question of reality. They do not seek knowledge. They do not ingest toxins of any kind.
There are a multitude of regional differences in Buddhism because of the nature of the culture that created it and the geographical landscape of those areas.
I agree and with with a lot of the basic tenets of Buddhism (right mind, right though, right action, etc...), but I would not call myself Buddhist because I am someone that seeks knowledge and asks questions about reality and God (and I ingest toxins on a regular basis).
