Sorry to hear about the job woes, Bhodi - I completed my last contract job at the end of January. I could have picked up another contract sooner, but I've been trying to land a "permanent" job so that I don't have to keep going through this every 3 to 6 months (depending on the contract). Unfortunately, permanent job interviewing processes take a hell of a long time.
I had a couple of close calls in landing a permanent job, but unfortunately they didn't pan out. This is my last week in my attempting a permanent job, then it's back to contracting to bring in the money for the time being. I'll keep plugging away on the permanent job hunt while I have the contract, but I really would hate to pull out of a contract job to land a permanent job. Although at this point, if I have to burn a bridge, so be it.
Anyhoo, good luck in landing a new situation. Sounds like the old one's management was pretty shi
tty anway.
