Could it be? The White House kept harping on how this wasn't a big deal, and now it seems to want to distance itself. Let me be the first to claim racism on Bushy's part for his "little brown" Attorney General. ¿Qué pasó, Señor Presidente? If he was a gringo, you would have his back even if he shot someone!

It'd hard to think of another grossly unqualified partisan hack to replace him, though.

Maybe the guy who used to polish the car in Austin is free.

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.

Gonzales's chief of staff has developed a bit of amnesia it seems.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/03/29/AR2007032901366.html

Quote:
"I can't pretend to know or remember every fact that may be of relevance," he warned at the start -- and he wasn't kidding. He used the phrase "I don't remember" a memorable 122 times.

It may have been a tactical effort to limit his risk of perjury, but Sampson displayed the recall of a man who recently fell off a ladder.

"Since the 2004 election, did you speak with the president about replacing U.S. attorneys?" Leahy asked.

"I don't ever remember speaking to the president after the 2004 election," he said. (He later remembered that he had.) "Did you have further communications with the White House regarding the plan to regard and replace several U.S. attorneys?"

"I don't remember specifically."

In even better news Dr. Eric Keroack the Bush appointed head of the federal family planning program, resigned earlier in the week.

Not sure if y'all remember him but he was the wing nut who claimed "sex with multiple partners hurts women's ability to bond by altering their brain chemistry" and who opposed abortion and more importantly contraception, which was a shame since he was in charge of the 283 million dollar budget meant to provide poor women and families with access to family planning material such as contraception.
