I have decided that complexity is what's wrong with my life, and I plan to do something about it.

As you'll see, I've thought this through thoroughly.

First off: No more shadow raping. I know, I know, 'Technically' it's not rape if it's someone's shadow (impossible to leave marks), but the frisson of danger as you see someone standing at the bus-stop on a sunny morning (not too early or the shadow is elongated and not particularly sexy) and waiting 'til their back is turned and furiously humping their shadow.

No more of that for me. No sir.

Secondly, after 30 years of failure, I will finally accept that my letters to Daphne off of Scooby Doo will never be answered. In recent years I've cut back to 3 letters a week, but it's over now. Finito.

Thirdly, I will get rid of my prized collection of insects. Over the years I've accumulated a scintillating array of gnats, flies, wasps and aphids. They have to go. Shouldn't take long to remove them from the collection (Or to be more precise, my car's front fender).

And another thing. The Liberace Shrine. It has to go. Bonus is that it will free up another room in the house, and I should get a bit of cash on e-Bay for the Candelabras and Choirboy statuettes.

Finally, I'll stick to replying to other peoples' posts on Forum=4, even when things are a little slack. I shall resist the temptation to post rambling drivel when there's fUck-all else going on.

It's that or the Juan Ramon Jimenez poems, and I couldn't face Flea'Lo correcting my 'dialectico'

I applaud your dedication to self-improvement, but come on, stick with the shadow-raping. They are all asking for it with empty, imperceptible mouths full of longing.
