Funniest battletech moment I've had was playing with my little brother. We took 4 mechs each, and he opted for IS and let me use clan mechs. So he has an Archer in his group, and I have a clan Piranha: basically a 20ton mech with something like 12 machine guns, I think it's speed was 9/14 or so. Anyways, we're moving around and his Archer moves to point blank range with my piranha, thinking that the 12 machine guns wouldn't do much to his 70 ton mech from the front (in the back, it would have chewed him up). So I have initiative, I start rolling to fire first- first couple of machine guns, missed, 3rd machine gun hits, possible critical on the center torso! Roll for how many critical hits (if any)..... 2 critical hits! Roll.... gyro hit! Roll again... gyro hit again! Mech is disabled! So this pristine Archer was taken out by a single machine gun round in the front. He decided to stop playing @ that point, claiming I'd fixed the dice.
I'm such a [:nerd:]
