Mechs to battle stations NOW! Enemy on the horizon!
Yahoo wrote:
Michael Jackson is in discussions about creating a 50-foot robotic replica of himself to roam the Las Vegas desert, according to reports.

The pop legend is currently understood to be living in the city, as he considers making a comeback after 2004's turbulent child sex case.

It has now been claimed that his plans include an elaborate show in Vegas, which would feature the giant Jacko striding around the desert, firing laser beams.
I approve of this mission and I would like to become a part of it.

I'm pretty sure we could get a Mad Cat Mk II up and running in time to destroy it utterly. Or maybe an Atlas. Oohhh! or a Daishi!!!

Mr. Jackson seems to be desperately trying to convince himself that he exists.

Clearly not. Nor would it be wearing a befeathered sequined bowler hat.

That's such a cool idea!!

If you're seven years old...

not that I'm into crap pyschology, but between the sleeping with teenage boys, and the building of giant self-robots roaming the desert, I'd say he's not quite over his lost childhood.

Though, I'd take a giant MJ robot over a new MJ album any day...

When I was in Vegas my buddy told me that there were rumors flying around town that Jacko was working on a deal with one of the casinos to have regular shows similar to what Elvis did. Considering his waning finances that'd probably be his best bet.

I don't disagree with you but I have to admit that if *I* had the wherewithal to build a 50' tall robotic me which roamed deserts and fired lasers, I'd be all over it.

Ahhhh... Battletech memories.

The last game I played/ref'd was back in high school. I was with these two other guys, Mike and Ken. In one game, Mike climbed a building and jumped onto Ken's mech. so, in the next game, Ken tried to perform the same trick. Only it was a light building and he was in a heavy mech so, upon reaching the roof, he fell through and went through three or four floors before crashing in the basement and crippling his mech's legs. Then Mike fired missiles into the building and collapsed it on top of Ken. Then he stood on the rubble and fired lasers into it. Then Ken went home and refused to play any more Smiley: laugh

Good times.

Nice.

I remember working with three other people to make a Warhammer capable of carrying multiple PPCs on each arm, and making an Atlas that was beasly (not that they weren't to begin with though).

MJ and Tom Sneddon should both have 50 foot robots of themselves and fight it out in the Las Vegas Desert, ala Robot Joxs.

Much *** kicking was had...

Honestly though, I'm waiting for the teen version he's building in his basement to become public.

Phoenix Hawk. Might not be as big as the Michael Jackson, but its pretty fast and has pretty good weapons. I think if I could get my hands on one though, I could make it moonwalk.
