At first, like how I mentioned in IRC, I thought I was just going to be officially the payroll guy. Right now, I'm the everything guy and usually station up at the lobby; after this 'promotion', I'd get my own office and would be more specific into what my role is.
Yesterday, the boss's sister pulled me to the side and first question she asks was "how much do you get paid an hour at the moment?" After my reply, she simply said "yeah, expect that to get bumped up."
She then went on to saying that other than payroll, she wants me to assist another employee with audit representation.

The real kicker is that she's going to talk to the bossman to pay half if not the full amount to send me to the community college (in this case, MDCC) so that I could get my degree and better assist the company.
I was floored. Last night, as I was driving home (tired as sh;t) it struck me that my job is becoming my career.
Gooooooooood times!!!

I wanted to blog this, but another coworker (whom will remain anonymous) is a myspacer. Pikko, I know you can guess who.

So yeah, I'm super excited and counting the days until tax season is over!
