We have the 6 months paid maternity leave and 2 weeks paid paternity leave (+2 weeks at half pay if you want it).

Some employers (like my own) offer better (9 months paid maternity leave and 1 month paid paternity + optional 1 month 1/2 pay paternity leave).

The basic rate of tax has just been reduced to 20%, state funded healthcare, free education to age 18 and we make our policemen wear a dark blue breast on their heads.

Alas, for those of us earning 60K pounds it's considerably higher, but I have no complaints
