Everything's meh to me lately, including the forum. It's either the rain or I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I'm sick of the snow, the rain, the mud, the dark, the work, being ill, Hannah being ill, being around people I don't want to be around while missing the ones I love and knowing that I'm underpaid, underappreciated, and undermotivated to get to where I'll be happier.

So I guess I'll start posting more, sorry for my absense. :D

I don't get S.A.D., but I do fall into a slump right before Spring. I'm also sick of the cold, rain, work, feeling like **** but not being ill enough to call off, not making enough, driving too far, taking on too much, and missing my folks. Of course I have the folks at home, but I feel like sleeping the instant I walk in, and the time I'm awake I'm trying to catch up on housework.

I've gotta say, I'd be a lot more depressed if not for this. I met some great girls at bellydance class, and they're been lifesavers. It's hard to get together with the kids and all, but Monday night coffees are keeping me sane.

I don't have much of a social life anymore.

Movies or it didn't happen. Bonus points if the class is conducted in the nude.

I just miss having someone to come over and have coffee with me and chat while I do the dishes. There is a serious lack of cool lady types around here, they're all either immature and obnoxious or old and boring. You board ladies just need to move closer to me, that's all there is to it.

Oh well, in a couple years I'll be done with school and moving to a more populated area...that'll help. Plus, Hannah's becoming cooler and more companiony by the day.

It's in the low 70's and the marine layer is starting to break up and looks like it will a beautiful afternoon. I may just go for a run on the beach today.

I enjoy posting weather reports when you guys start ******** about how much it sucks where you are. :)

In all honesty, most of my friends are away at school. This leaves me with only a few friends, and they're downtown, while I'm in the suburbs. This means that I get to see them maybe over weekends, but depending on how much schoolwork I need to do, my chances of actually getting down there are about 50-50.

So, as I sit in my room, melancholy and bored, the only thing that keeps me sane is my guitar. Even if you don't/can't/won't play an instrument, just listening to music is therapeutic and relaxing. Try it some time.

I'm going to mix up a pitcher of strawberry margaritas and soak in the bathtub. Have a nice run!

Dude, I'm all over that tonight, except I don't hate my margaritas, so I won't sissify them by adding strawberries.
