You are at an out of town party or business function and you get into a conversation with one or more people about hobbies and someone mentions they like MMOs and post on some "Allakhazam" forum web site. You coyly inquire about said person's forum moniker and they reply <Insert crybaby poster or admin here>.

Do you :
Break out in diabolical laughter and tell them that you're an Asylumite:15 (22.1%)
Act like you have passed by the site but never really post (lie):4 (5.9%)
Punch them in the head:15 (22.1%)
Tell them who you are and recount the great times you had pwning them:19 (27.9%)
End the conversation promptly and get another scotch:15 (22.1%)

Why would you choose the choice you made? Would it change depending on the level of noobishness of the poster encountered?

Personally, for me it would depend on the situation. Some really dumb people out there actually have some pull (IE. They may be friends by association to the person holding the party, even though the party holder isn't a schmuck).

If there was nothing on the line, I'd have a laugh at their expense. If it was going to impact a business deal, then I'd just go get another scotch. If it was a chick who was about to fellate me, I'd act as if I'd never posted here. Sex > Epeen.

I would go get them another scotch.

Once they were good and lubed up, I'd ply them for incriminating information about themselves and even get embarrassing photos (not letting on, of course, that I had a clue about some gaming forum weird place).

Then I could bring all that information back here for good-natured ribbing and blackmail and such.
