Ironically you're right; accident that it was. Our soldiers don't need to be concerning themselves with whether what they're doing is immoral or not. They must have faith that their comrades and superiors are doing the right thing.

I don't understand how Varus can say homosexuality is unnatural; it happens in nature all the time with geese. They procreate with females, but tend to have sexual relationship with geese of the same sex. Don't tell me it's unnatural because god intended man and woman to make babies. What about sterile people? Are they not allowed to have sex? I won't even get into the "the Bible is full of crap" argument either.

It's people like YOU that are immoral. Thinking everyone should hold your beliefs or they're immoral. You have nothing to base your claims that homosexuality is immoral on but the Bible. There's nothing inherently evil about homosexuality; it doesn't kill anybody, it's not stealing something from somebody, etc. Who someone has sex with shouldn't have any impact on anything. I'm not even gay and you're offensive. Just admit the fact that you think it's immoral because it's different from what you think is "right". If it's so unnatural why does it exist at all? It seems like it's just as "natural" as being heterosexual, except it occurs less.

As far as the army goes: If you're in an infantry group and you can't focus on your job because you think the guy next to you is thinking about banging you, then the problem is with you, not the gay person. In a war, the last thing that should be going through your head is who anyone else *****. Stop being a homophobe; realize that gay men/women are EXACTLY the same as anyone else except for which gender they choose to have sex with.

It's mainly a generation thing if you ask my opinion. Very few of my peers are outrightly homophobic to the point where they couldn't be in the same area as a *****. When I say "peers" I mean people born generally between 1978-1989 both military and civilian alike. When the whole homosexual marriage topic comes up in conversations, I have yet to meet anyone to disagree with it. Then those who've been around the world a couple of times, well not much comes as a shock or surprise to us. Smiley: lol

People are people, might as well let them do what they desire.

However those significantly older than I, have almost violent opinions about the issue.

To all the ******: Give it about 10 more years and you'll be able to do anything a heterosexual does. Take that as you will.
