I'm sorry but this is patently untrue. Oh I think Starbuck will be back alright but you seem to have missed the fact that the writers have made a huge effort to give the other characters backstories and episodes of their own.

yep, just like star trek tried to hightlight spock, bones and scotty.

bottom line, no kirk, no star trek.

no starbuck, no BSG.

the ratings have gone way down since last season. why is obvious. they are focusing too much on internal soap drama, and too little on SCI-FI. it started last season when they locked starbuck up in a room playing mommy during the whole occupation series of episodes. people started loosing interest. so what do they do? kill off starbuck, and bring her back in a super big way with both guns blazing in a take no prisoners charge, saving their **** in the nick of time.

THATS what sci-fi is all about. not this whiney **** love triangle, politics, and spy hunt crap that has caused their ratings to plunge.

she will be back. and it will be in a space ship with guns blazing.

soooo obvious. you herd it here first.

Oh yeah, that's why The Next Generation and Voyager were such abysmal failures :p

starbucks death was faked so she could go underground to sniff out the terrorists? or to go ahead of the fleet to find earth without being missed?

no starbuck, no BSG. might as well kill off odama and his whinning son lee. you guys are sooo blind.

One word:

Cheesy

An idiotic, cliched, asinine stunt like this would basically be a big ol' can of cheese-whiz sprayed all over the screen. It would be the "I want to be subtle, but I'm too braindead to pull off anything more than obvious and contrived" solution. It's "Bobby Ewing in the shower" all over again.

In short, only an idiot would consider it "clever."

But then, consider the source of the speculation...

soooo ambrya......

whos your daddy? rofl.

happened just like i said it would, in a space fighter in the middle of a fight.

your right about one thing though, clearly one of us is an idiot........

Um, shadowrelm? Did ya watch the episode? Your obvious, trite, cliched, "this would be clever if a six-year-old were writing the episode" idea of:

Quote:
starbucks death was faked so she could go underground to sniff out the terrorists

was nowhere to be seen.

Yes, she found Earth, but aside from that, the situation had nothing in common with your scenario, which clearly implies that she was acting at the behest of the fleet. Unless the reactions of Adamas Jr. & Sr. were a bunch of over-the-top scenery-chewing, her death was not "faked," especially if she's actually a Cylon (I have my doubts on that front.)

Aside from the fact that what you predicted and what actually seems to be shaping up on screen bear only the slimmest resemblence to one another, your "prediction" is STILL cheesy, STILL "Bobby Ewing in the shower," and still, yes, idiotic.

Obviously, you can't handle the subtle stuff. Stick with slapstick comedies and leave the heavy thinking to the grown-ups.

sooo, i like how you cut out part of the sentance to try and save a little face.....

not done yet.....

im right. dont have to admit it. your wrong. everyone can see that.

sad part is, its not rocket science. totally obvious. at the end of most series shows they have a finaly with some star MABE biting the bullet, only to bring them back. jackson dieing in SG1? spock dieing in a couple start trek movies both new and old. the hotshot guy in SGA eating a nuke?

soooo obvious. sooo lame. sooo predictable. soooo repetitious.

and you want to argue it?

soooo blind. nuff said. whos your daddy? hehehehe
