Playing with my digi cam the other day I caught some amusing footage of my son, which helps explain visually why one of his nicknames is Pirana . Somehow I found the time to *gasp* upload it. While Im sure about 98% of you could care less, I hope the other 2% might get a small chuckle out of it.

I dont know why its not working all of a sudden, as I previewed it not signed in to make sure it works, but I'll keep trying. I also have it linked on my myspace page, linked in my sig

hehe watching it again while I was getting it uploaded, I kept cracking up at the "corn on the cob" motion he did on hubbys thumb. He had been attacking anything he could stuff in his mouth more often and I noticed he would get this predatory gleam in his eye right before he attacked. I was lucky to have the cam nearby and catch him.
Edit to add it works fine in IE but for some reason not Firefox. no clue why

LOL too cute! Were those hiccups I was hearing throughout that video? I'm a little obsessed with baby hiccup right now, since Ambrya 2.0 has been having them in utero the last week or so.

Cute kid and it work in Firefox for me, so not sure what was problem.

Looks like time to keep a few teething rings in the freezer. I love how fast baby at that age grow and learn, minus the days of crying with light fever due to teething pain. I'm convince I was only a mother, so someday I could have grandchildren.

20 month old granddaughter is into play with one nibble while nursing on the other one. She also like to put hand down the front of our shirts. She seems to think grandma's and aunts boobies are for her to play with too.

Hannah used to have hiccups all the time when I was pregnant. It's cute the first hundred times or so, but toward then ed, when you're trying to sleep and already uncomfortable and have heartburn...it stops being cute.

Yeah, I'm waiting for that day. At this point (28 and a half weeks) I'm still pretty comfortable and enjoying things (only issue I have right now is that, due to my compressed stomach size, every meal sits there like a rock for hours, and results in some rather prodigious belches that would do an 8th grade boy proud--much to the neverending amusement of Mr. Amrbya and my own mortification.)

I figure I've got a few more weeks and then things will start getting miserable, so I'm taking the opportunity to enjoy it while it lasts.

Oh it's not all miserable, you'll get a better idea of the baby's personality toward the end, haha.

Words to the wise:
1. Rolaids work better than Tums,
2. those heat wrap things that self-stick to your back almost made me believe in God,
3. Walk toward the end, even if you don't feel like it, you'll feel a whole lot better if you go for a walk every day. I went right after dinner, even if I was really tired because it helps with digestion and made my back feel better.

Nexa

Edit: cause I can't spell.
Edit: because my grammar sucks too.
Edit: Oh I ******* give up

That's the plan now that it's lighter for longer in the evenings (much as I'm opposed to DST on principle, it's working in my favor this year, especially happening early as it did.) Our neighborhood has very few sidewalks and a through street that people go WAY too fast upon, so I've been holding out until it was lighter in the evening to start walking.

haha, this article made me think of you DSD:

Father Not Letting Firstborn Repeat Mistakes He Made as a Nine Month Old

The Onion wrote:
NAPERVILLE, IL Citing a desire to ensure that his nine-month-old son, Jason, stays on the right path, Bill Yardley told reporters yesterday that he is determined not to let the infant make the same mistakes he made at that age.

"Back then, I didn't know my place in the world—I was young, directionless, aimless—and I don't want him to fall into those same bad habits," Yardley said, adding that he vowed to discourage his son from the same immature fixation with breasts that "set the tone for [his] entire misguided youth." "I only behaved that way to get attention. It was stupid. He's got his whole life ahead of him, and I just don't want him to ruin it."

Yardley added that he knew his son was starting to follow in his footsteps when Jason began "hitting the bottle" earlier and earlier each morning.
