I was talking to a friend today about the world's most pointless gestures.

He claimed the pinnacle was the "Not in My Name" marches against the Iraq war in London a few years back. A fair point - all of the marchers were entitled to vote, and their elected leader decided on their behalf. While I'm not a supporter of the war as it was argued, it was "in my name" because it was my elected Government. Democracy. Tadaa!

I, however, argued that Bill Drummond burning his last Million pounds as an act of 'art' back in the '90s was far more drastic and pointless.

a) Am I right?
b) Know of any more pointless gestures?

To make a long story short, I don't take any responsibility for anything I post here. It's not news, it's not truth, it's not serious. It's parody. It's satire. It's bitter. It's angsty. Your mother's a *****. You like to jack off dogs. That's right, you heard me. You like to grab that dog by the bone and rub it like a ski pole. Your dad? Gay. Your priest? Straight. **** off and let me post. It's not true, it's all in good fun. Now go away.
