This makes no sense to me.

I mean, the comic. It was by far one of the most boring in the DC Universe, and that's saying something.

"He's Dead Jim" would have been the headline for that one!

Not that I want to see anyone dead but that man should have retired a loooong time ago. Who wants to see Captain Kirk as a bloated old man, no matter how funny he thinks he is?

Hrm. Maybe I just thought he was DC because he is so very boring.

Edit: And the boots. Those boots scream DC.

My husband is not going to be happy about this at all. We might even have a period of mourning in our house.

I just hate that they released the story before the comic had actually been released. Thanks for ruining the read for me, CNN!

I remember, when you were down
And you needed a helping hand
I came to feed you
But now that I need you
You wont give me a second glance
Now Im calling all citizens from all over the world
This is captain america calling
I bailed you out when you were down on your knees
So will you catch me now Im falling

No, I never read any Marvel comics, but can't miss any opportunity to quote the Kinks.

So, anyone want to bet when he'll be back? Will it take one year or not even that long?

It's Marvel, I've yet to think of a major character that didn't come back from the dead.
