Question purely for the gurlies here. My brother recently bought a Hair Salon as a birthday present for his wife. The profit margin on hair coloUrant is incredible!

At a gig recently he asked me to look around and try to find any wimminz that looked like they had natural hair. I was amazed - almost every chick had streaks, highlights or an apparent mismatch between their head hair and their eyebrows.

So - Laydeez:

Ladies - Have you had your hair coloUred?
No - I've never dyed it:1 (6.7%)
Yes, in the past, but I've now let it grow back to its natural state:4 (26.7%)
Yes - My hair is currently dyed/streaked/highlighted:4 (26.7%)
I am an bloke and would feel left out if there wasn't a button for me to press:4 (26.7%)
I am Britney Spears and the electric butterflies dancing in my sky-bubble tell me my head looks awful purdy:2 (13.3%)
Total:15

I used to try out colors just for the heck of it, but now if I didn't do it I'd have streaks of grey, and ***** that. Too close to blonde for my taste.

Being Pacific Islander, any color but dark brown on my head is obviously a bottle-job. The times I have had colour added to my hair, I've tried to stay within a fairly natural color, with the exception of when I bowed to the idea that Asians do look good with blonde streaks. That lasted all of 3 months and I had all my hair coloured back to a dark chocolate brown so as my hair grew out, I didn't have to worry too much about my roots. Or whether my cuffs and collars match.
