Can I make a hotel reservation for Chicago yet? Are we decided? I'm not getting plane tickets yet because they'll be nonrefundable, but I'd at least like to get a good rate on the hotel.

You can... I think the question was which hotel would serve as home base if you intended to slumber with the group (in a manner of speaking).

Well it seemed like the one suggested was either agreed upon or at least, not objected to. No one else made any suggestions.

Works for me. Hotel reservations are usually pretty easy to change/cancel anyway.

Report back and let me know how much they want.

The password function on the journal annoys me. Mainly the "having to enter it twice" bit.

Fix it, Danalog! Smiley: motz

IMHO, it's way too early to decide on a hotel.

Well, we could wait until all the AAA rate rooms are gone and pay a buttload for the rooms I guess. What's the reason to wait?

Oh and JD, the B&B you suggested was really nice, but there were only like five rooms and we have more people going than that.

'swhy I was looking for a head count! Smiley: motz

I've got some feelers out right now looking for a nice bridge to curl up under. If that fails, I hear there are some really nice alleys with great dumpsters on the main strip. I might end up staying in a B&B anyway, if I can find one close to the hotel.

And flea, it's only like 5 months away. I imagine in the city **** books up quickly, especially for the summer months.

Oh, I don't care either way, so I suppose my personal reason would be that I just don't pick hotel rooms this early. I don't have AAA, and I can always find affordable rooms, but then again I usually elect not to travel in August.
If you want to go for it, do so, but trying to get a dozen or so folks to agree on one hotel this early in the game is like herding cats. If you want to stake the flag, though, go for it.

Anyone that wouldn't want to be near Nexa's room clearly missed out on all the fun in Boston.

Well, I'd book it now if my local AAA site was up. It won't even let me do it through another area's AAA. ********

Cool that that hotel has a full kitchen in every room. I am getting a suite so I vote we all have breakfast in my room one morning or the other. We'd save some money and you can complain about my cooking and watch me burn myself.

Yeah, because sleeping on ****** commercial carpeting in a room with two women in comfy beds sounds like a blast. And IIRC, didn't you have to share that floor with Deb one night? I'd rather drink with him sitting in a chair and have his arm slung over me, drooling on my neck, and whispering sweet nothings into my ear.

You can only go if Totem choppers you over and lands on the hotel roof.

PM Flea. She's the gatekeeper. I'd imagine that she'd be fairly judicious in her selection of who gets the password, but as long as your friend doesn't suck as much as you I'd say he's in. Smiley: wink

If your "Friend" has Big Tits or a huge cOck. . . maybe.

If your "Friend" has both, there would probably need to be a vote
