.. is better than War War - as Churchill said.

So did the ISG.

But Dubya he say we no speaka wid de Axolotl of Ebils

Now Condy's approving US representation at talks with Syria and Iran in Baghdad.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/6403633.stm

So. . . U-turn?

Wouldn't his Bushfulness have looked better if he'd magnanimously accepted the ISG's report instead of dissing it, then quietly going along with it later?

Anywho. . . Good News! Smiley: clap

I still don't think it's a good idea. Something about it just doesn't sit right with me. There is something about Iran's leaders being at the table that I don't like, considering the talk of wiping Israel off the map and all. Syria is a total blacklist for me.

I will say this, if these countries are willing to help curb the violence in Iraq, and condemn the actions of the few that are trying to spread terror and hatred in Iraq, instead of the normal "blah blah blah, nuke Israel, blah blah blah, the holocast never happend, blah blah blah" routine, let them help, by all means, let them be killed by the munitions that they've produced, or had slip over their borders into Iraq.

I just thank Bob Almighty that GW wasn't around during the cold war.

I'd like to hope that Bush would be able to pronounce Kruschev as well!

Cruise Chef?

Sometimes I think that when GW is speaking about Iran he always goes with generalizations and refers to them as a nation rather than addressing particular individuals in their administration because there is no way on Gods green Earth that he could pronounce Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. He would get a headache just thinking about trying to say it.

When I imagine him trying to sound it out it sounds to me like the noises he would make when orgasming.

Oh... I made myself sick..

Did it involve him screaming "More Barbara, more!" cause ya, that would be yucky.

In the end it is not that he can't pronounce it, rather to quote Henry Rollins he is "Intellectually incurious".

Not strictly true.

Try "Arrogant, Ignorant, Wasteful and xenophobic" and you're part way there.

We're not arrogant...well no more than the rest of you made us by calling our presidents the "leaders of the free world", along with "greatest nation in the history of the planet"...you know, things like that tend to get to one's head, but then again, is it arrogance if it's true?

I'm pretty sure the Iran talks will go something like "if you build a working nuke, you won't be around to build a second one b ecause we'll let go of Israel's leash and let them nuke test you out of existance. oh, and Syria, knock that **** off you twatwaffles"

Smiley: dubious

I can't remember anyone calling the US like that.

Well, except for the US.

Otherwise, I think it's a good sign.

Behaving like a six-year old kid and ignoring people is not really how the President of the world should approach world affairs.
