That's it, join the dark side, vote for more taxes. Become mini-Canada.

Seriously though, its things like this that allow me to sleep at night while the government rapes my pay cheque every week.

True, but health insurance that covers dental costs are much more reasonable and affordable in Canada as a result of our health care program.

Because we all know what socialized dentistry has done for British teeth.

capitolism has its place. healthcare is not one of them.

this is the only country in the world that does not have socialized medical care.

think about that.

then think about the fact that this is also the only country in the world with a medicare health covernage problem, medical insurance coverage problems, run away medical treatment and drugs costs, and a large portion of our population who do not have access to medical care in the industrialized countries.

law enforcement, medical care, schools. three things necessary for the health adn advancement of a society that SHOULD NOT be left to the private sector. imo.

a capitolist system is fine, for people who have capitol. for the other 80 percent of our country, it is just a wall that keeps the have nots from ever becoming one of the haves.

That's the British, you can't hold them as a quality standard for anything, except Fish and Chips. It's be like holding the French as the standard for bravery.

Theft, rape and murder are necessary for the advancement of society? No moron, those are actions that result in the destruction of society. But I can use a meaningless word like "private sector" because I'm a dumb fuck.

Do you need car insurance to get your oil changed? Do you need food insurance to eat lunch and dinner?

Quote:
A routine, $80 tooth extraction might have saved him.

The government has fucked up the normal supply and demand incentives for doctors, hospitals, drug companies, dentists to compete against each other to offer the best quality at the cheapest price. It's stupid to get health insurance from your employer. Do any of you dumb fucks even bother to understand why health insurance is provided by employers?

Every socialist health care system steals you money, make you wait in massive lines for service, and rations the hell out of care. In a free society, you can spend as much as you want to on health care.

Social Security is failing. Medicare is failing. Medicaid is failing. Everything the government is involved in is by defintion phail. And morons could care less about using violence to expand the phail to universal health care. Here's hoping those sub-humans are raped, robbed, and murdered so as to save others the trouble of having to do it to you sub-human criminals.

How many middle-people are there between you and your doctor? How many people are there between you and your dentist? All of that is wasted money paying for people to sit on their asses doing nothing but pretending like they are doing you a favor or it's paying their salaries by taking away from your care.

If you want free health care, then voluntarily doh-fucking-nate your money to charities that help those in medical care need. Or go to medical school you piece of **** dumb *** and voluntarily give all the free medical care you want to whomever you want.

What they need to do is eliminate the oppressive and artifical system of requiring physicians to be restricted by our demand for governmental "licenses" and "degrees". Let anyone with a Wikipedia link practice medicine and market forces will drive health costs downward.

Face facts

Even with Universal Helathcare coverage, there are some people too fucking stupid to go seek medical attention - even when it's state funded.

I suspect in the UK this guy would be every bit as dead.

Yes we get thousands of people who present so late with their symptoms they're filed under 'POD' (Proof of Darwin)

Are you drunk?

I think that expecting the government to cover most health care, especially that of children, would be in keeping with the idea of "promoting the general welfare" of our citizens. I would gladly pay more in taxes to do this, and would also expect that many of the people objecting are already paying for private insurance. Why not pay more in taxes for national healthcare and stop paying for private insurance and have everyone covered.

I realize it's not that simple, but it doesn't need to be. I agree with previous posters that healthcare should fall under the jurisdiction of the government, just as public schools, public works, and law enforcement does.

Also, the fact that I'm a total **** has no place in this conversation. I take advantage of family planning for all of my abortions, and your taxes do pay for that much.

A Republican misogynist. Who'd have ever guessed? Don't feel badly, your jealousy that women take all the men you'd like to have penetrate you anally doesn't bother anyone, it's just amusing. Good show, old queen.
