I do not think the father was made to forget the daughter, just anything that will help "The Company" find her. The haitian and the Father probably made a plan on where claire and the haitian should go, maybe some fake ID, money ect. and the father was made to forget that plus anything else he did that could get him killed by the "The Company" if he was made to talk. Though I bet claire will want to go to NYC and talk to Peter Petrelli, who it turns out is her Uncle, though she and he do not know that yet.

I was thinking the same thing. I do hope more light is shed on "The Company" next episode - are they good, evil, or worse, Republican? Smiley: tongue They seem like a governmental watchdog, able to bend the law as it suits them.

Best episode yet because not once was that dumbass SARESH there.

I'd rather Sylar just kill that fool.

Yeah this was one of my favorite episodes to date. I like Parkman so it was nice to see his powers really put to a good use.

When Claire's dad told the Haitian to go deep, he meant deep into his mind and erase everything he knows about Claire and probably his family. He is going to become a hardcore agent again and probably become more of an antagonist as the story moves on.

I think I may have been mistaken now.

Can that haitian only remove memories?

I was under the impression that he can negate peoples powers also from when Parkman and the detective chick were in the car on a stakeout.

Claire's dad and haitian dude came out but Parkman couldn't hear anything in their minds. (Barring that one word)

Think he can negate mental powers only?

Thats a really good question, I never thought of that.

I was thinking Matt couldn't hear the Haitian because of what the Haitian can do, not because the Haitian can negate abilities. And that really doesn't make any sense, haha.

My husband said the same thing, that he thought the Haitian could block powers. I mean, wasn't he the one to help capture Sylar?

How can you not like Mohinder?? He's like the only hawt Indian guy I've seen on tv!

What I want to know is if Mrs. Bennett and Lyle are being taken out now. And what about all those neighbors standing out on the street. They ALL saw Claire walk out with her face burnt off and then heal right before their eyes. Without the Haitian, how are they supposed to control that?

It was the 'persuasion' girl (forget her name, she's dead now) who captured Sylar by telling him to go to sleep. He was just there as muscle to help carry him.

That 'new girl' in the company will probably have some power to fix this mess. At least that's my guess.

Okay, I'm going to put my foot through the television.

This is not the right place to leave us hanging for two fucking months! I mean, I understand wanting to build suspense, but COME ON!!!

Smiley: laugh It's TOTALLY the place to leave us hanging... we're going to be speculating for a full two months, and there's no doubt that the resolution is going to blow my mind.

My theory, Peter still goes critical, and becomes the bomb, but, at the last minute, he gains Niki/Jessica's power and manages to split himself into two people. One of the copies contains all the powers, and the other is a normal person. Then, the one going nuclear rockets himself out into space using his brother's power of flight.

Her power isn't the ability to split her personalities, it's super strength.

The only thing is one personality knows how to use the power, the other one doesn't. Other than that she's a perfectly normal crazy person.

Ugh... not fun. Now I'm stuck with Lost and BSG ends in 3 weeks. Probably Rome too. Must go look up when The Shield starts...

I liked that they leave us with the answer to Peter's scar.

I agree, wasn't there a scene where Nikki (thats the good one isn't it?) broke a nightstick in half without the aid of Jessica (thats the bad one right)?

April 3rd on that one. Also, starting March 12th you may want to check out The Riches. A new TV show starring my favorite comedian, Eddie Izzard. I am banking on that helping with the withdrawals until The Shield and Heroes come back.

Heh. Yeah. Looks like the mystery of the scar is solved (for some reason he wont be able to heal it? Dunno...).

I'm just waiting for Peter to decide to open up a can of Whup-*** on Sylar. He's got as many powers as Sylar does (technically more since he'll have everything Sylar has, plus every other power he's ever been near). Only trick is whether he'll be able to use them. I'm guessing he does, cause otherwise it'll be a very disappointing end to the cliffhanger they've got us on. Besides, Hiro has to meet him at some point after this when he's got the scar, so he's got to live, right? Right!? ;)

Haven't read the thread, because I haven't watched the show, and I realize this is probably hte wrong group to ask for an objective answer, but:

Is it worth my time to download buy this from itunes, assuming I had a gift certificate expiring today for the exact value of how much it would cost? Or am I going to be annoyed and bored by it?

Well crap. If it means you'll ***** and moan because I'm discussing something that happened in a way that triggers your "off the meds" personality, then no. Stay far far away... :)

Um... but for pretty much any other reason, I think you'd like the show. It's not a geeky "folks flying around in tights" superhero show. Bit more realistic then that (as much as it can be with superpowered folks running around). I'd do it. Heck. I'll probably buy the season dvd when it comes out.

I think you should watch every show ever created for television. You are well on your way!

Aside from bhodi (and who really cares what he thinks, anyway?), I don't know anyone that doesn't like it. I say go for it. I haven't enjoyed a TV show this much in a long time.
