Outstanding episode with a lot of information revealed and some interesting plot twists. I really liked how they stayed focused on just one story thread this week - sometimes all the jumping around gets a little annoying...unless, well, there are 2 or 3 really interesting threads going on.

Nice to see Eric Roberts on the show now. Also glad there was more screen time for George Takei.

Looks like they'll be introducing Linderman next week.

Did I mention that the show sucks, and that threads about it suck even more.

Cause it does and they do!

I just got caught up on three weeks worth of episodes. I'm really happy with the directions the story is taking. Jess/Niki's story is actually starting to hold my interest.

It's nice to see that Claire is starting to have some balancing, her storyline was just sad, watching her go from normal teenage girl into learning about all these betrayals by her dad, and finding that her biological parents are kinda jerks. Now, she's starting to come into her "heroness" and starting to take her destiny into her hands, it's good to see the upswing on her story.

The thing that kind of bothers me though, is that Peter is starting to turn into an *******. Granted, knowing you're going to be the cause of the destruction of NY is a bit of a bummer, but it just seems to have come up very suddenly.

Anyone have any theories on Simone? In the previews for next week, she's standing and talking after being shot. What do you think? She has an invincibility type power? She's not really Simone, but another hero with shapeshifting abilities? I don't know what to think, but I can't wait to find out.

I thought it was a great episode as well. Very interesting twists and it adds a whole fugitive underground air to the show, instead of the slightly campy brotherhood of super heroes thing. I find this air a much better dynamic and direction for the show. Seeing young Hiro was a hoot.

My theory on Simone is that Peter finds that Claire's power to heal is not just for herself and he uses it on Simone.

I loved the back story of Claire's father doing what he does. Can't wait to get more details next week.

I think Linderman will have a power... but what will it be?

I was kind of surprised by the ending. Didn't think HRG would ever want to forget his daughter. But I think I missed something - is Claire going into hiding with the Haitian now?

Yeah. Remember the conversation between Claire's dad and his boss? The haitian went into hiding and she went with him.

They had to shoot her dad to make it look like the haitian took her by force.

Doesn't Claire live in TX? How is she going to make it from there to NYC in time to save Simone? I'm going to go with Simone has some sort of invincibility power.

Edit: Nevermind, read that wrong, Peter using Claire's power to heal Simone does seem plausible, but in the short bit in the preview, Simone seemed a little cocky, like she'd healed herself, or she's not really Simone.

Nadenu, There wasn't really much explanation on that part, but I think, yes, Claire and the Haitian are going into hiding. That is why he had to shoot Claire's father and remove his memory, to make it look like Claire and the Haitian got away.

Yes, the Haitian is on the run now too, so he was taking her underground so that Claire wouldn't have to go to whoever Bennett works for. What Bennett did was "call" the Eric Roberts character for damage control and the Haitian is now marked for death as the Invisible Man was, as they planned. At first I didn't get what he meant by "Go deep!" because I thought he meant for them to go deep undercover. Very moving scene... *sigh* I remember back in the beginning when he's first watching Claire's video and you're like EEP he's a bad guy!! And he's her dad!! So cool that now he's a show hero. I thought the way they kept his unfaithfulness secret was very clever, I loved that!

Overall a freakin kickass episode. Lost, get a clue. This is how you progress a storyline and this is how you get people holding their breath for a week!!

Peter now has claire's power to heal, he will it use on Simone, or at least that is my guess.

I do not think the father was made to forget the daughter, just anything that will help "The Company" find her. The haitian and the Father probably made a plan on where claire and the haitian should go, maybe some fake ID, money ect. and the father was made to forget that plus anything else he did that could get him killed by the "The Company" if he was made to talk. Though I bet claire will want to go to NYC and talk to Peter Petrelli, who it turns out is her Uncle, though she and he do not know that yet.

I think the whole 'Peter Healing Simone' dealie is weak.

Maybe the ability to heal other people will be Linderman's power. She does have a history of selling paintings to him.

I am am not loving that little mini plot twist of her getting shot but not dieing, just like I did not like whatshername getting out of jail scot free. However it is TV, and we can't expect every plot twist and nuance to be perfectly thought out, after all this is not Carnivale.

I actually was thinking that maybe Simone does die, and the person we see is simply a dream Issac is having because of his guilt.

If Simone were to die, I belive Isaac would be dead too because Peter would kill him, hes been way too stressed out recently and he would snap.

Isn't Sylar supposed to kill Isaac, according to the time when Hiro first travelled? I think that no matter what, the bomb is going to go off. The tagline has always been "Save the Cheerleader, Save the World." not "Save New York".

Hmmm, never thought about it that way. I guess it does make sense.

I just wonder what they're going to do once the bomb does go off. I mean surely this can't be just a one-season deal. And if it is, I'ma kill me some NBC execs.

So does Mr. Nakamura know about Hiro's ability? He must, right? And if he's so high up in "The Company", the business that is supposedly in trouble is just a front. Does his sister have an ability?

I'm still maintaining that Linderman is Bennet's boss. Remember, the character we've seen hasn't been given a name yet. Recall how they said in an earlier preview that we would meet Claire's real dad, but they didn't show a face. It ended up being Nathan. I think it's gonna be the same thing here.

What happened to the girl that Matt and Ted were associated with? What's her deal?

Also, if you recall, Simone said to Issac, "You don't paint the future. You create it." It just sounded like she was trying to re-assure Issac, like usual. Judging by the preview, she knows a lot more than we've been shown thus far. I can't help but think that there's some truth to what she said. (But if that's the case, Peter also inherited this power...)

The bomb is going to go off. Issac painted it, Hiro saw it. Nothing that somebody has seen in the future in one form or another has been stopped. It ain't gonna happen in this case. Issac is gonna die. (apparently thanks to Sylar, judging by how he was killed) At the very least, Peter and Hiro will survive the blast. ("You look different without the scar")

There is something I am still wondering, though. We have yet to find out how saving "the cheerleader" (nobody said it was Claire) will "save the world". I don't think Claire / Sylar / anyone else with healing would be able to survive being asploded, torn to bits, or even so much as having their brain chopped up. Would Claire have died if Sylar did his usual routine of power-stealing? If so, Sylar would die from something similar, thus not dooming "the world". And besides, if Sylar did get the power, and Claire does not get killed in the process, it wouldn't exactly be world-threatning. Nah, I think the true meaning of those words is something much, much more immense.

Just a few crackpot theories for you. :P

If you're referring to the wireless internet girl, we were wondering if she was the one that showed up with Eric Roberts.
