OK, so Mr. Thumb has finally started his terminal retirement leave with the military, we relocated to San Diego, bought a house in the neighborhood that I grew up in, kids started at their new respective schools and I start my new job this coming up Wednesday. Currently, I am sitting in a near empty house waiting for the movers to get here.

I have missed a bunch of stuff around here, so what's going on?

Tare, the baby's here right?

DSD, how's the new little one?

Nexa, what's up with the house and your little one?

DF, well, I just talked with you the other day so.... Smiley: grin

Pikko, you'll be so disappointed in me. I haven't watched one episode of Lost, BSG or Heroes at all because of all the crap that's been going on.

Nads, you still drinking the vodka? Smiley: boozing

Flea, you married yet?

Hannah is being a nightmare, terrible twos all over the place...plus she's teething (just so she can bite me, surely). I'm not quite done painting the kitchen yet...need to go get more paint, then it's on to the laundry room.

I have zero time for anything at the moment, between working full time and going to graduate school full time (I expect to be dropping down to half time by the end of the week though, I'm too far behind in one class and it's just not worth the nervous breakdown to graduate by December...an extra semester won't kill me).

Congratulations on the house sweetie, I hope you are all settled in soon!

Nexa

LOL gratz on finally getting into your new home, Thumb. I hope everything was a little less stressful than you had anticipated?

Little one is doing well. We're still working to find out if he's having digestive issues, but we're plugging away. He's 11 weeks as of tomorrow and a moose, so I know hes at least getting the nutrition he needs ;)

Hows it feel to finally be where you've been dreaming to be for years?

Right now, I only have dial up access right now. I forgot how slow 56K is. Smiley: lol

Edit: I just realized I only asked what's going on with the Allafemmes. Sorry, fellas, I've been having Sapphic moments lately.

Not married yet, a few months, still. I've barely had any time to focus on the wedding, just odds and ends here and there. It'll be here before I know it.

For the curious as to my Sapphic moments...

Not sure why, but for the last couple of weeks, I have been checking out the curve of the waist of every girl I pass. That and checking out how her hair frames her face.

And no, I haven't done anything about it before you ask.

Hey, at least the move is done!! Now you can msg me with "I HATE UNPACKING!!!!"

Lost - You haven't missed much. 1/3 was good, but that's it.
BSG - A lot of filler episodes lately. Missing the last three really won't kill you, though you should probably catch next weeks.
Heroes - Sci Fi usually replays them and this is the one you should probably put first in "catching up".

On the personal side, I sleep 100x better now that little Buddy eats like twice as much dinner as his big sister then knocks out until 6 am. Ah the sweet bliss of continuous slumber. I'd forgotten what it was like, really.

I've been on a Merlot kick lately. I think it's because I tell myself that it's good for me.

But yesterday was Mimosa brunch day. I was in bed by 6:30, haha. I can't do champagne.

In your defense, it's hard to formulate a good excuse when unconsious.

Baby's come with hats! Groovy...

Grats on the house and all Thumb. Whereabouts did you end up? Clairmont Mesa (guessing), or farther south? Grats on the Sapphic moments too! I'm sure the hubby just loves that...
