I was attempting to research an area involving lobbyists/agenda tactics within society, and I've hit a stone wall so to speak. I thought some of the denizens of the Asylum might have some first hand knowledge in a particular area.

Do the organizations GLBT(O) or GLAAD employ personnel to integrate themselves into chats/forums/bulletin boards etc as part of their lobbying/agenda strategy?

BTW, I am taking as a given the strategies of intergrating their agenda goals within the school systems, churches, clubs, APA, AMA, legislation,(hate crime laws) etc, however I can't find a solid link as yet to an internet strategic tactic involving chats, forums and bulletin boards.

Also please note the key words are employ personnel.

I worked with a guy that was certain that anyone responding in a negative way to his online anti-semitic rants were under the employ of some zionist cabal.

I think you might be better off at looking two things. The natural and organic need for isolated and oppressed people to reach out over the anonymity of the internet. And the subsequent development of LGBTQ websites or websites that are friendly to that. But seriously, you might be better off asking yourself the question, why do you refer to them as "Agenda Tactics" rather than people looking for safe spaces on the internet.

In truth it was a CNN expose a few years ago that revealed hired personnel (women primarily) that were paid to work/sway male patrons in bars just prior to the last election to vote a certain party, and although a short-lived news item, it produced some political bloggers to seek out internet connections along the same lines.

I view that particular hiring of people to do that, as an agenda tactic, so that's why the title.
