I've been using the Venus razor on my face since not long after they came out. The blade build looked better, so I gave it a shot. I haven't used anything else since. I rarely get cut, and it's a better shave with less irritation.

I'm not a manly fellow anyway, so I never had any hetero street cred to worry about.

I use a Mach 3 Turbo razor and my shaving cream of choice is Gillette Fusion Hydra Gel - Ultra Sensitive, Ultra Sensible. I rarely nick my face, unless I'm really rushed and I've neglected to change out the blade when needed.

After I shave, I usually put on some Oil of Olay spf 15 lotion to prevent any neck burn or dry skin. During the winter months, my skin tends to dry out - the lotion works great.

One day I really needed to shave for a business meeting that morning. I realized too late that I was out of shaving cream. So I tried our face soap, Cetaphil, which is usually what I use to wash my face before shaving, anyway. Worked great.

It doesn't matter what I use, I always get razor burn on my neck. Even electric razors (which I switched to for about 2 months out of desperation) do it. That's half the reason I grew out a beard.

I tried electric razors - I don't have the patience to clean them out and they always aggravated my neck. I've never found one that gave me a decent shave. I tried that Lectric shave crap, too. Nasty stuff.

My dad in-law gave me one of these. Its ace. And looks all tough as well (just in case your not very confident of your masculinity. Wich doesn't apply to me of course. But if it did then I would get one anyway. yup.)

I have used the Mach 3, Turbo 3, and The Fusion. Then I was out of blades and could only find Venus blades. No nicks no cuts. I tell you I was all about that then tried the blade with the soap around it. Best blade ever used. I am a die hard user and proud of it. I used to think the wife waxed to get her box smooth and if my face can be that smooth then i am user for life.

Yeah, that dude is ugly.

I had to use a rotary sander, and even still the ugly remains.

I prefer a combination of gasoline and wooden matches.
#48REDACTED, Posted: Feb 22 2007 at 9:57 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) lol...your simplicity is endearing. I bet you're the cutest piece of trailor trash this side of the mason dixon. Allow me to clarify, just because I don't personally shave myself doesn't mean I don't have a cute stylist do me the honour twice a week.
