That I know that Gillette "Venus" line of ladies razors are cheaper, last longer and provide a better shave than any of gillettes "Mach" series?

So does it?
Yes :13 (15.9%)
No :12 (14.6%)
Bodhi had hetero street cred???? :57 (69.5%)
Total:82

Had a debate about it the other day. Yes, at one point I was forced to shave my face with a ladies razor out of desperation and I immediately became a convert. The difference was that noticeable.

I've done that before for the same reason (nothing else was available at the time) and I too noticed that it was a lot smoother and cleaner.

I don't do it in general though.

Real men use a straight razor or the edge of a freshly sharpened axe. I always knew you were a lady-razor using nancy boy.

My beard is so heavy I mess up a razor after a few days and I never get a decent shave. I may just try this out.

Smiley: eek I had no clue...hell I'll give it a shot and if wanting a good shave means losing hetero street-cred then so be it. I am always out looking for a better way to shave and the Mach system has been the best I found and I still suffer. I'll try one of the wifey's razors ASAP.

Anyone care to share any more shaving tips?

Trampolines + Shaving do not go well together.

That's not something I'll be doing again soon

The last time I had the opportunity to steal a razor from a chick, oddly enough she had a Mach 3 (which I also use). She was telling me that she preferred it to the girly razors, but I'm still not convinced that she didn't just steal it from another dude(ie he left it at her house).

I've done this out of desperation. Something from the Venus line of shaving gels.

What is this Gel of which you speak?

Saboruto may have the answer.

I even hear of gurly men who insist on washing, wetting, lathering their face before shaving.

Wusses.

True, true.

I think I would favor the ladies razors over mens for the following reason: They last longer and cost less. The fact that is a better shave is secondary, I am just a cheap bastage.

Using a lady razor only reaffirms you're heteroness, because as has been pointed out on numerous occasions, you have a ******.

I think the difference may be in the moisture strips. I might try the new Venus Breeze, which has these gel bars built in.

I grew up on Barbasol (my old man was oldschool), then moved to Gillette products and have finally settled on Nivea for Dudes. Superiour shave cream, for serious.

What have you done Bodhi....You're a man. You use the Mach 3 for men and none other. I don't even know you anymore.

Ugh. I used a chicks shaving gel once when I ran out back when I was married. My face felt ...weird afterwords is the only word I can think of and it smelled wrong. I got a good shave out of it though.
