Are people truly Bisexual?Follow

#1 Feb 15 2007 at 6:08 PM Rating: Decent
I am torn on this one lol.. I knew you guys would love to discuss this topic lol....

Anyway I thought I would get some imput from you guys seeing as you would be objective in this situation.

My cousin came up a few weeks ago with a friend of his that he had been roomating with, of course liquor got involved DUH! anyway so ends up I hook up with his friend O_O yea I was shocked too. Anyway his Friend was telling me about his ex g/f and how she would never put out and he was a virgin, well until I got ahold of him >< ... He explained his sexuality in %'s like most bi people do .. said he was 60% str8 40% gay trust me I don't understand the % thing myself I always been strictly Richardly. Anyway so he goes home after 3 days of romping everynight (trying to not be too graphic for your sake) I talk to him everyday still, my cousin kinda blabbed his mouth to a lot of people that this guy knew, even his ex g/f called me yesterday asking me if it was true.

I finally broke down told her, she was fairly convinced before I had told her because my cousin had told her in a lot of detail. Come to find out all the times he supposedly "ate her out" and attempted to have sex with her was a lie. She said she had tried many many times to have sex with and such. So my guess is he is duh gay. Anyway I don't wanna ramble but this begs the Question do you believe people are truly bisexual or are they just pretending they are not gay or are they just going through a transitional phase in their life?

I mean for some reason I find it hard to believe anyone is gonna like both sexes their entire life , I believe it is possible to go through a phase and what not but I don't think bisexual is a permenant thing? do you?

Well he is comming up in afew weeks he still says he is 60% 40% so oh well I guess I will have the 40% fun lol :D

Everyone's actually gay, but it takes some people longer to realize it.

Well if homosexuality has one perk, it's that the OP won't procreate.

I guess the thought of people in a nursing home still confused if they like ***** or D!ck more seems a little far fetched. I mean seems by a certain age one of the two would have completely taken over. I never met anyone over 50 that is bisexual..

Bisexual people are confused over which they like? Seems to me they probably like both.

Edit: And despite your sexual activity, I hope you're either 12 years old, or recently suffered a brain injury.

Why would they need to like one more? To pull out an ancient and dusty analogy, I like both chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Sometimes even both in the same bowl.

By the way, I'm not bisexual but I don't understand the skepticism that anyone else could be.

I am not saying people don't have the right to like both. I am merely getting an outside prescetive that relates to a situation that I am currently involved in. I don't understand bisexuality, and no I am not attacking anyone that is or might be bisexual.

Ick.

I feel like I need to shower in boiling water and scrub with Brillo pads and lye. Must we hear about all these sordid sexual details? Sure, BT and his sheepcapades are funny, but listening to **** pillow talk is just plain gross.

Yuck.

I originally included a line facetiously calling him a bigot, but I didn't think the humor would be caught, so I edited it out. Turns out I was right.

It's always been my belief that bi-sexual people were just horny. Are we not, as a society, hetero by default? It's not really as black and white as you seem to think. If a person likes sex, then that's that. Everything else is gonna be based on past environment and chemistry.

If a persons eyes are closed and someone starts performing oral on them.... it is going to feel good, regardless. It's biology. It is only when the eyes open that everything else kicks in. All of the taboos or all of the hawtness.. depending on your preference..

however being straight as an arrow.... I'll say that I have never had any homosexual urges in adulthood. i will admit that when I was a kid; a sexual feeling was a sexual feeling (i.e. "playing doctor"). I had no notion of gays of **** or whatever... It just felt good, male or female. These days i will get aroused thinking of a hot woman going down on me. I do NOT get aroused thinking of a hot man going down on me. This is NOt because I have no concept of a hot man. I do recognize attractiveness in the same sex or unattractivness. Most people I think either ignore or supress these aspects of themselves. they will recognize a "handsome man" but do not acknowledge that as attraction.

That may lie the difference. If it is "just chemistry" as you **** claim and it's not a simple matter of choice and preference.. then YOUR idea of a "Hot Man" must greatly differ from mine. I would equate my idea of it as a mix of envy and admiration. You would be more likely to be thinking what his *** would be like bouncing off of you.

That being said.. we have all had different experiences in life. maybe I was exposed to too many slutty girls and you were exposed to too many slutty guys... and our parents didn't talk to us in the right way and the people that we knew had different inputs to you about such feelings..... you saw something when you were little to make you hate pússy and I saw too much to make me love it.

Either way; I still do not think that it is a "Either/Or" as you say. There are many many factors to take into account.

Why are you questioning it? Are you afraid he's suddenly going to start banging his ex-g/f and not want you>?

godammit Tylendell, you best not have left after I just typed all that gay ****Smiley: mad.

I hope I'm still tring to get some trim when I find myself forced to reside in a nursing home, be it the little old lady down the hall or the nurses I see no reason to give up on lust.

It would be nice to combine that lust with love but you can't have everything.

It'd be hard for them not to be. Bisexual that is, not the sneaky part. Most flocks of sheep you see are a mix of female (ewes) and whethers (neutered males). The bucks are kept seperate except for a 2 week (roughly) breeding period, and for several weeks in the winter after the ewes are already pretty far along in their pregnancy, up until they give birth. With the obviously large majority of the time away from the opposite sex, this forces experimentation on both sexes. It's obvious in this respect why all sheep are bi.

Wait, we were talking about sheep right?

Realizing that you're young, keep in mind that one doesn't get in a relationship with a person based soley on sexual attraction. There are certainly people who are just attracted to people, without too much consideration as to which body parts are between their legs. Some people even find one sex more sexually attractive, but find they only like intimate relationships with the other.

There are many more classes of sexuality than even bi, gay, and straight.

This reminds of a joke:

A cruise in the Pacific goes all wrong, the ship sinks, and there are only
3 survivors; Damian, Darren and Deirdre.

They manage to swim to a small island and they live there for a couple of
years doing what's natural for men and women to do.

After several years of casual sex, Deirdre found God and started to
feel horrible about what she had been doing with both Damian and Darren. The
shame grew strong, and eventually she killed herself.

It was very tragic, but Damian and Darren somehow managed to get through
it and after a while, nature once more took its inevitable course.

Well, a couple more years go by and Damian and Darren began to
feel horrible about what they are doing.

So they bury her.

It seems about 70% of the people I know are "bisexual". I honestly think that possibly about 10% truly are. The rest are either just gender-confused or seeking attention. It's a sad state of affairs but there's more pressing concerns to be addressed before this becomes one of the things scientists spend all day trying to figure out.
