I'd make this a poll but since I cant, bite me. With it being VDay tomorrow I was wondering if you consider yourself a romantic or not. If you do, what kind of things have you done or do you continue to do for your SO. If you are, is your SO romantic or not? Are your overtures pretty much wasted on them? Vice versa. If youre not, is your SO romantic and are their actions wasted or appreciated by you? Do they know it?

I tried being romantic with a few ladies. Then they would get the restraining order, and it kind of ruined the ambiance.

Romance is keeping it out of her eyes.

I'm not very romantic...

My. Ambrya sure is. Smiley: inlove

This when he got home from work, I was taking a nap, as I had been up very early this morning to drive his parents to the airport. We were going to have our V-Day dinner out tonight instead of tomorrow, as restaurants are going to be hell to get into tomorrow, and he has several projects for the class heis taking due by the end of the week.

When I woke up, I found on my desk chair a handmade card, decorated with construction-paper valentine hearts like we all used to make in elementary school, and on the inside of the card, one of the hearts had his name in it, one of the hearts had my name, and then a little blue heart beneath them had our baby's name in it.

I'm not usually the weepy type. Call it hormones, but I cried.

I'm not a huge romantic, but I'll be doing something special for him tomorrow.

I'm honestly bored of myself, at this point, but I feeled obligated to make this sort of crude comment. Plus I get a good laugh out of it. I know it's immature and redundant, but it's my schtick. I think I'm going on for an innapropriate amount of text in these small tags.

I try to be. I put a lot of thought into my romantic gestures. I'd take just the sweet little day to day moments of closeness over any grand romantic plan though.

I can be although I've been getting slack so I should probably pick up my game a bit. I momentarily redeemed myself during Proposal Weekend though Smiley: grin

I can be, although it usually happens when I'm more rested and have more free time than I do right now. I try to do small things and give compliments, but I'm not a romantic in the true sense of the word. I show my love in more mundane ways.

When doing things for her, I like to think big. Well, as big as financially possible.

Were she here instead of in Kansas, I would have taken her on a day-long road trip, shop in various places (She had mentioned a trip to Victoria's secret...), visit some land marks, go back home, clean and get dressed up a bit, go to a very nice Italian restaurant I found recently, and proposed.

Best laid plans....

I used to be a Romantic, but the whole era of red leather suits passed and the band broke up, so now I'm not.

You might want to keep that to yourself. Flea hears the secrets that you keep, when you're talking in your slee.
