I'll be cheerfully handing the shovel over to my Valentine and booting his *** outside to clear our driveway of the expected 8-14 inches of snow heading our way =)
For Valentine's Day, I cleared the 12-18" drifts of snow off of my 100'+ of driveway from the curb to the garage so Flea can park the car in there tonight. My original intent was to shovel just enough on the parkway to have a place to get the cars off the street.

For our family, the husband clearing off our driveway is not a VDay gift. In our house, we decided to split mowing and snowblowing years ago. I mow the yard in the summers since I can handle the heat better and he clears the driveway of snow since he tolerates the cold better than I do. It's not my fault the snow blower broke last spring. Besides, he's gotten off easy this winter with only one other time of accumulated snowfall. I have no pity and will watch him cheerfully while Im cozy in the house.

If I hear about anyone getting engaged on V-Day i just might go on a shooting rampage. I will be spending money I dont have on a girl that I gave my soul to. Well not gave, more just broken till it could no longer be fixed and I just threw it away and she wanted it because it had "sentimental value." Anyway you love birds can burn in hell.

I'm cooking her dinner.

I know this is hard for you Americans to understand, but, as a Frenchman, I have to make her something refined, and delicate, with lots of inspring flavours and delicious subtelties that will enthrall her palate and delight her senses.

So, I'm cooking her hamburgers!

And if I get lucky... I might just get to watch *************** FA Cup 4th Round Replay, BBC1, 8pm!!

I'm romantic like that.

As I told Joph, I'll let the wedding be our grand romantic gesture this year. I'm not big on talk, anyhoo. It's best to show through your actions.

Flowers and candy were not allowed this year, so I picked up a nice cabernet wine (it's romantic AND healthy! Smiley: inlove) and the typical extortionistic card. These will be presented after we both make it home from our spinning/cycling classes tonight.

If we still have any energy, we'll do the woo...oh hell, I can't back that up. Most likely the following morning - that's how we roll...Smiley: sly

I took Thumbelyna's recommendation from the "Can't live without it" thread and got Mrs. Yoyo this. I drove home for "lunch" today. We enjoyed it.

We're thinking of joining some of our RL friends and relatives in WoW and I may get the expansion for V-Day. Sex and compy games...I'm a lucky, lucky man.

MrKatie brought me a very beautiful flower arrangement. Very pretty indeed. Yes, he was one of those who spent a pretty penny on it. Poor villagers, ah their deaths are not invain for it made Katie smile!
