V-DayFollow

For our family, the husband clearing off our driveway is not a VDay gift. In our house, we decided to split mowing and snowblowing years ago. I mow the yard in the summers since I can handle the heat better and he clears the driveway of snow since he tolerates the cold better than I do. It's not my fault the snow blower broke last spring. Besides, he's gotten off easy this winter with only one other time of accumulated snowfall. I have no pity and will watch him cheerfully while Im cozy in the house.

Pfftt.. I've seen your driveway. A mere patch of asphalt.

I know this is hard for you Americans to understand, but, as a Frenchman, I have to make her something refined, and delicate, with lots of inspring flavours and delicious subtelties that will enthrall her palate and delight her senses.

So, I'm cooking her hamburgers!

Flowers and candy were not allowed this year, so I picked up a nice cabernet wine (it's romantic AND healthy! ) and the typical extortionistic card. These will be presented after we both make it home from our spinning/cycling classes tonight.

If we still have any energy, we'll do the woo...oh hell, I can't back that up. Most likely the following morning - that's how we roll...

Not doing anything except spending a lonely day at school and playing games when i get home...

Hubby surprised me with 2 dozen roses on my desk when I woke up this morning.
