The Pedigree dog food commercials make me say that paying for a dog from a breeder is a sin unto God himself!

Waste of money. Best dogs I've ever known have been cross-breeds. My current favorite is a coyote-lab mix.

Should we just say C'est la Vivi ?

February 12, 2007
BY BEN WALKER
NEW YORK -- A year later, and still no Vivi.

Oh, the tips keeping trickling in, long after the woebegone whippet ran away at Kennedy Airport right after the Westminster Kennel Club dog show.

There even was a supposed sighting a few days ago near a picnic area, and a bunch of searchers rushed into the frigid night to look for her. Before they got there, the dog ran down a path and disappeared.

''If she'd been hit by a car or shot on the tarmac, at least we'd know what happened,'' said Vivi's owner, Jil Walton. ''I know that sounds bad. But not knowing, that's the worst part.''

The Westminster show starts today with 2,628 entries. Chances are no dog, including Bill Cosby's prize Dandie Dinmont terrier, will attract more attention.

''Everyone wants to know about Vivi,'' said David Frei, host of USA Network's telecast. AP

Edit: Vivi Pic! yay!

I wouldn't even bank on the dog. He should have gotten a $50 starter dog first.

True. This dog may rather play fetch by itself.

What's it called when you want it up the pooper from a dog, homobeastialsexualality or something? That was one of the gayest links I have ever had the misfortune of opening. At least get rid of the music.

I have upward of thirty german shephards on the ranch at the moment. Varus, you into multiple penetrations? I could book you for the weekend, for a nominal fee, of course.
