Fake conservatives should run and hide too.

I'm happy to announce that a real conservative may be running for president. This means that we can have a real debate in the upcoming elections and primarys, vs. the tried and failed ********** you, 'cause I'm really going to" line of **** from our elected leaders.

http://www.newsmax.com/archives/articles/2007/2/5/161823.shtml

Quote:
Michael Savage, the nation's third-most listened to radio talk-show host, says he may leave his top rated show to make a bid for the GOP nomination for president.

"I know it sounds bizarre but when you consider the people running for the presidency, none . . . seems to be qualified," Savage told NewsMax in an exclusive interview.

I think he could be the spark that could return the nation back to its roots of not taking anyone's ****, but not giving anyone **** either.

That's scary...

We used to listen to him all the time on the way home until they changed his time slot in Hawaii. Then one time I was listening to him at work and he started going into one of his tirades about some racial issue and people started looking at me funny, so I never tuned in again. Smiley: lol

So, you like Michael Savage then?

That would make Pikko a conservative! WHOOT!!!! I'm not the only one who's not a nut, trying to claim to be a conservative around here!

I asked him about those tirades once when he was in town for a radio function, and he told me that most of the time, they're just to entertain, so I wouldn't take them too seriously. I find most of them funny.

I remember when he had a show on MSNBC. I only caught about ten minutes of it, but it was the ten minutes where he went into a spaz-attack over a phonecaller and started making a bunch of anti-gay slurs and telling the caller to get AIDS and die. I was like "WTF?"... and later found out he got fired for the outburst.

Yeah... he's about as likely to be the next president as my cat is.

Ever think about the fact that our country has gone to ****, because people stopped giving a ****? Finally, someone who does, and has a better shot than the rest of us, and you call us behind? Someone wants to make this country truely great again, and you attack him. You must be one of those people that think it was the federal goverment's fault the people died in New Orleans.

You should have heard the idiot on the phone. Not that the guy desirved the whole "get aids and die" type comment, but the guy needed a verbal whippin'.

I'd love to see Savage in the national debates. I think he'd open eyes to how fake 99% of our elected officials really are.

I agree, he has no real chance to win though.

You can't think well for yourself, can you?

Think back to the Cold War. We didn't put up with anyone's ****, but we didn't really get into anyone else's **** much.

Look at things in the last 15 years. Two wars, neither finished, failed international policies from two administrations (yes, Clinton was a **** up to, and we can discuss it in another thread, let's not derail this one, yet), and two presidents that are more worried about ******* us (Bush is ******* our futures, Clinton just ****** our women), than they are obeying the Constitution of the United States.

So his platform is just gonna be yelling and screaming about how our country has gone to the birds and not actually telling us why, or how to fix it?

So, like did you even bother reading history at all before you posted that, or did you just pull it directly out of your ***? The main thrust of the cold war was us getting into everyone elses ****. Vietnam, The middle east, pretty much all of south and central america, Cuba, The balkin states. hell, where didn't we get involved during the cold war?

Ah yes, Vietnam. The biggest **** up of the U.S. That was a blunder, but who started that one? We were asked for help, we didn't go sticking our noses where they weren't asked to be.

The ME, blame the CIA, they were operating off the leash, same with Cuba, the Balkans, and Central America. Hell, to be honest, the CIA has ****** us over several times. When hasn't the CIA ****** us over because they can't keep their ***** in their pants?

I was refering to direct intervention, without being invited. Where did we send our army that we weren't invited? Certainly there were no Iraq like blunders of the ultra stupid magnitude, where everyone said stay the **** out of it, or did I miss something. Grenada perhaps?

Oh, I did. But I don't care if Savage was baited or whatever, the point still remains that a soundbite of "******* like you should get AIDS and die" or whatever the exact quote was isn't exactly going to make him the public darling.

I've heard him say similar things.

And saying that I listen doesn't make me conservatives. If liberals didn't listen to conservative radio they wouldn't have anyone to berate on the phone, now would they? He's amusing and a good debater, but he's too hot headed to have any kind of chance. There are a handful of things you could make up and say to him that would make him spit fire and eat your brains on air, which doesn't do much good for a candidate.

Still, would be interesting to see him debate with politicians.

Perhaps he wouldn't take anyone's crap, but not giving anyone crap? Yea right. Actually letting gay people marry other gay people? Somehow I doubt that.

Thankfully, he won't make it.

I went ahead looked up the exact quote:

Quote:
Oh, so you're one of those sodomites. You should only get AIDS and die, you pig, how's that? Why don't you see if you can sue me, you pig. You got nothing better to do than to put me down, you piece of garbage, you got nothing better to do today, go eat a sausage and choke on it. Get trichinosis. Now do we have another nice caller here who's busy because he didn't have a nice night in the bathhouse who's angry at me today? Put another, put another sodomite on....no more calls? I don't care about these bums, they mean nothing to me. They're all sausages.

And also found this:

Quote:
[Ashleigh Banfield is] the mind-**** with a big pair of glasses that they sent to Afghanistan...She looks like she went from porno into reporting.

I've heard other things he says on the radio, but I can't put my finger on anything specific. Aside from how he'd be in the decision-making role of the president, the guy's a maniac... o_0

Bigotry and Facism in order to attain some ideal of how things were in the past that never actually existed. Yeah, that is a good idea. Especially if one found a minority or two to blame for our current social woes and then justified persecuting them for the greater public good.

Good times.
