Awesome episode on all counts.

The Obi-Wan Kenobi/invisible dude is great. Claire's real father? Didn't see that one coming! Is it wrong to think Syler is awesome?

Don't judge me!

I loved that it's Nathan!! I had, despite knowing better, had figured it must be Linderman.

It was interesting to see George Takei speaking Japanese. I loved his grunts and such. Ando and Hiro continue to be my favorites, they're just so teehee cute. I hope we're not let down next week with the Nikki/Jessica storyline, cause that just puts me to sleep.

I kinda think that Nathan being the dad is interesting story-wise (clearly mutant-mom plus mutant-dad = mutant kid). But I feel a little bad because now I'm not sure which of Claire's dads I dislike more... poor Claire.

Did anyone else see the Micah/computer power ability coming a mile away (or like 7-9 episodes ago)? I'm thinking that Nikki/Jessica, her baby-daddy, and Micah are nicely set to be a super-powered crime family. The kid hacks systems by touching them, dad slips through walls, and mom is the crazy muscle. It's fun and felony for the whole family.

P.S. I would have like Takei's grunts more if he hadn't done the same thing when he guest-starred as himself on Psych.

I thought the same thing, to be honest. As for Nikki/Jessica, yeah, I'm really sick of the soap opera - I like it better when Jessica comes out to play.

I thought that claire's real father was disappointing. All it shows is that he gets around.

Why didn't Syler kill Claire's dad in the cel?

I love how Jessica struck a deal with Linderman (sp?) to get her free.

The invisible man is great, but he sounds too much like his character in Gone in 60 Seconds.

I hate how Hero's father just 'held up' his story. Very little plot development there.

I love how Peter can pull out other people's powers. I especially loved the fact that he couldn't fly, but healed instead. Great twist.

I don't like the fact that Isaac can paint the future without drugs. He was so much more interesting when he was high.

I love how Claire's father knew about the invisible man.

I love Claire's real mom's power. Fire is awesome.

All in all, a satisfying experience.

Because he's eeevil - he wanted Horn-Rimmed Glasses dude to suffer - knowing he was helpless to save his daughter.

Well, he killed Suresh's father to get the list to find the other "special" people. Also, he killed Claire's cheerleader friend as well. While he does have a focus on the "special" folks, he will kill anyone else who stands in his way...i.e., the doctor that was in his cell who Syler covered up with a sheet to fool Claire's dad.

I think they were using it to 'study' him.

I agree with most of you guys, the Nikki/Jessica storyline needs to be spiced up or something; maybe Ali Larter needs to get naked because this storyline sucks ***.

Best power in the show has to be the power to fly. Oh, yeah.

So is it pretty much regarded that Heroes will have Hero offspring?

Claire's Real Father + Claire's Real Mom = Indestructible Cheerleader
Mika's Mom + his Father = Tech savy manipulator

Or is it just a coincidence? I was wondering if Hiro's sister has any special abilities?

The thing in Syler's head, I believe, was a shunt that they were using to pump him full of drugs to keep him under control/study him.

If you recall the doctor and Mr. Bennett had a couple of quick discussions on whether or not Syler would survive the amount of whatever drug they had him on.

Two things I found very, very interesting:

When Simone told Issac "You don't paint the future, you create it." The implications there are absolutely huge.

Also, when Sylar was speaking to Mrs. Bennett, she said something like, "It's funny that you call him Mr. Bennett, I've always known him as-", and she gets interrupted by something mundane.

Two things I still want answered:

Who the hell does Mr. Bennett answer to?

How did they manage to re-capture Sylar after he killed Eden?

I think it's a genetic anomaly based on chance if they have the hero mutation or not - Nathan and Peter have it, so does that mean their mother has it? I think the writers are free and loose on this - it could be anyone, but more likely when parents have abilities as well.

I think Hiro's sister has the fantastic power of Happy Endings! Yata!

Well, he either answers to some ultra secret branch of the government and/or the mysterious Mr. Linderman. Maybe both.

I'm sketchy on how they recaptured Sylar, so I'll guess and say there was some sort of lockdown and they gassed him before he could get very far or the voodoo dude put the whammy on him. I'll let you know as soon as I buy the season's DVDs when they come out...unless someone actually knows the answer here, as it's obvious I have no clue.

I attribute his re-capture to Eden. I thought maybe him reading her brain while she killed herself must have worked him over somehow.

It was wise of him to not kill the father, he wants to get information from him in the future, Claires father knows where lots of the others are that are not on the list. Dead people tell no tales etc.

The whole nicky gets out of jail thing was just stupid. Even if they found some else to confess to the murders, she committed several fenolies in prison which should have kept here there for a long time.

If Peter now can heal himself when he perfects using it, how does he get a scar that can not heal as Hiro of the future said to him, or perhaps Hiro meant something else by that?

Perhaps Peter and Sylar have the same power and just apply it differently. One from just contact the other from eating brains.

One thing that wowed me was the realization, that if Peter can eventually use all the powers he has come in contact with, he has been in contact with Sylar.

Yeah, I was thinking about this, too. He will be the one to take Sylar on head on when it comes down to it - unless the writers go the "teamwork" route to beat the villain.
