Did any of you actually believe that bipartisanship would be honored in the new Congress? With only a sliver of a majority, any pet projects of the Democrats seem doomed to fail. Of course, with the media trumpeting after the last election that this was huge, the average citizen will not realize that without a larger majority, nothing can be forced through.
I identify best with the Libertarian party, but usually identify more with the Democratic party because I don't agree with most of the moral conservative agenda.
Interesting to see what happens over the next two years. Will the minimum wage hike make it through without a huge tax break for businesses? I doubt it.
