I forgot to mention painting my kitchen (about half done), laundry room, and then I'll move on to painting the bedroom.

Also: I think I have the plague.

I've been getting by on coffee, chocolate, and nyquil. I guess I could give the OJ a shot.

I bought this one kind of Tropicana, it's called Immunity Defense (middle one). Any time I feel like I'm getting sick, that thing puts me right back to feeling human.

Algebra has me pretty tied up lately. I hate algebra. Blech. Remodeling the master bath, doing some pre Spring cleaning. Yep, that is what the Katie has been doing.

Hubby retiring from the Navy next month after 20 years of service so we are in the middle of relocating to San Diego. Have been in escrow on a house we put an offer on. The financing looks like it's going through (and we were sweating that) so looks like escrow will close February 5 or thereabouts.

Also been job-hunting and have been going to and from San Diego for interviews. Looks like one offer will be forthcoming within the next week or so (pending my background check and employment verification/references) and it is a job that I really really want. Lots of corporate transactional work and an introduction into intellectual property law in an in-house legal department with the possibility of travel. Hubby has been job-hunting as well, but can't do to much until his retirement begins next month.

Also have been dealing with other things related to relocating such as school transfer for the kids, decluttering and getting rid of things we don't need to take in the move, dealing with insurance policies (having to compare rates) and transfer of all utilities, services, etc.

And tryng to finish up my caseload at my present job so I don't leave my boss in a lurch. He's stressing over the fact that I'm leaving even though he's known since September 2006 that I would be leaving in early 2007.

All in all, the past 3 months or so have been absolute hell, not to mention that Mr. Thumb and I are still smoothing over and re-paving the bumpy road of marriage our relationship had become. We're having our good days and bad days, but it seems that the good days have been outnumbering the bad days in the past couple of weeks.

I have been dominating the forums recently. Last post in the top 5 threads.

At this rate, I might actually see 10k before 2008.

This past weekend I saw the musical/play Avenue Q. It was hysterical. I bought Mew's album Frengers. I've been dying to get it and it was just released in the U.S. last week. And, I finally finished my resume so now it's time to look for a job. :(
