Bears by 20. Manning is going to have a hell of a time with a broken thumb.
He'll be alright. Rex can't throw half the time with two good ones. Low scoring game. I don't see the Bears offence scoring over 10 points. Now, they are the Bears, so I can see their defence or special teams scoring once (maybe even twice if they are extremely lucky) and that puts the upper limit of the Bear's scoring at around 17. If the Colts score a single touchdown, either Rex Grossman turns into the next Mark Rypien and has the one great game of his life or the Bears don't win.
I'd favor any of the top four AFC teams against anyone in the NFC - the level of competition is just so disperate. By my quick count, in the regular season AFC teams bested NFC teams 40 times out of 64 (40 wins, 24 losses). Only one NFC team had a winning record against the AFC (Dallas) and ten (10) AFC teams had winning records agains the NFC.
The Bears beat the Jets and Buffalo and lost to New England and Miami. Yep, Miami who had 3 wins against the NFC (against one loss) and 3 wins against the AFC (against 9 losses).
