I probably won't know what is going on for New Year's until that evening. That's pretty much the norm with me, though.
I am going to go over to a friends house.
I guess it'll be like a mini reunion for me since most of the people there are all folks I've known since middle school.
It's going to be local style potluck so that means lots of food like kalbi, mochi, lumpia, chinese noodles, and pizza, of course. Although I am probably going to go against the norm and bring something as benign as cupcakes.
There should be lots and lots of drinking involved and then at midnight we will be setting off several hundred thousand firecrackers to ward off evil spirits in the new year!
We set off a 1,000,000,000 firecrackers at midnight the last time I got together with these guys for new years. Hurray for Firecrackers!

Mlle Flea and I have reservations at some piano bar in Chicago to see Susan Werner, a lady none of you have heard of but who we both enjoy and who does a great live show. Last time we caught her live, we got to speak to her after the show and she told us she was going to be playing NYE and to catch the 10:30 show 'cause it'd be better so, hey, can't pass up a hot tip like that.
