Thought this here was the asylum...Follow

Having read Bhodi's post, one can not help but think that this place has gone down the tubes big time.

We can't pick on certain people's sexuality...

We can't pick on certain people who I think were involved with other people, and then got screwed over by them...

We can't talk about getting a full body waxing and dressing up like a boy scout.

I mean, its not like I post here all of the time, but hell, its the asylum. Even the administrators should have to play by the rules. If you don't like the emotionally disturbed clientele of this forum, then go hang out in the OOT.

Feel free to ban me for 48 hours by the way, I may not check back for that long.

Holy **** is that Santa on the roof?! Nope, it's the next best thing, Tacosid! And yeah I'm agreeing with Tricky, without Bhodi here it was like the life got sucked out of this place.

Yeah, Kao's got mental issues, but it's not like we haven't been seeing it for the past 2 1/2 years.

Personally I think I liked him more back before he had the power to dictate what goes on here. I mean, really, this whole forum was designed an a collection hole for the socially untame.

If I were being ridiculed would such a ban have taken place? Hell, if someone here were stupid enough to attempt to ride me about anything I would put them in their place by fighting fire with fire, or rather fire with a bazooka.

I sure as hell would not fight fire with water, which is exactly what goes on here now apparently.

To simply imagine that someone on this forum would be banned for insulting someone does not compute. I suppose that for those who do not have the verbal ability to dicate their will with words, then being a moderator must be pretty nifty.

All in all, I believe someone needs to grow a set of nuts.

Perhaps there is more to it that what you saw in that thread. Bodhi obviously received a PM from Kao and who knows how long that has been going on.

As for following the rules, I thought the rule was that there were no rules.

Pretty much my point.

As for the PMs...who the hell cares? I don't care if he sent an acutal picture of himself shaved and dressed as a boy scout, it still does not warrant acting like a total prick and banning him simply because you can.

Apparently, it's because Kao works for some sooper-sekrit government defense agency, and they regularly scan the internet for people accusing him of liking little boys. (Not necessarily accusing him of pedophilic action, mind you).

That, and he's got a boy scout complex (ironic, eh?), has issues with sex in general, and overall is a blubbering pussy.

Edit: But it could be worse, he could be Magi. Come to think of it, maybe he IS Magi.

Did he do this here or in the OOT? Wasn't clear on that.

How goes it, Taco? You ever try WoW yet? I'm back in the game hanging with Aegis goatfooker. Say hey to Chinto for me.

Just got home from Chinto's house. He got married last summer and now lives only about 15 minutes from me. Lamprey got married last summer as well and is in Atlanta now. He will be up next week though and will be staying at my place from 4 or 5 days.

No WOW for me. No time to sink into something like that.

Cool, tell Chinto congrats for me. Tell Lamprey I said hey as well.

I know I can't persuade ya, but WoW isn't the timesink like EQ. Well, unless you get into the high-end raiding. It's a great mmorpg for casual gamers. Too bad we can't get a WoW chapter of Followers of the Stars going, heh. Those were fun times back then.

I removed EQ and all of its expansions, EQ2 and all of its expansions, and now Vanguard from my computer today and canceled my Sony station pass. I was wasting $21 a month never playing EQ or EQ2 anymore. I was holding out for Vanguard, but since it's a far from polished (i.e., blows donkey dong), it pretty much was the final nail in the coffin to keep the account going.

I also removed LOTRO since I'm never playing it anymore, either. I'm either playing WoW or hopping onto Gears of War on the X-Box 360 currently. Jan. 16 can't get here fast enough for WoW's Burning Crusade expansion release.

That post was the last in a very long series of posts where he has continued to expound upon that particular line of insult. There are very few things in here that are off limits, that happens to be one of them.

As an administrator, I am limited in what replaies I can make to people. If I want to keep my job, I am required to refrain from engaging in heated flame exchanges with customers, especially the paying ones. That is one of the prices you pay when you join the Admin club. You as a general poster have more freedom in what you are able to get away with posting than I do now. I literally cannot respond in kind.

The only limitation that was put on him was not to go through the whole pedo insinuation thing again. He has been asked previously to knock that off by myself repeatedly, by Allakhazam, etc.

I am through asking.

This has been going on for 2 years off and on now and it needs to stop.

In return for refraining from engaging in flame wars with customers we do get certain tools, one of them being the temporary account mute. This was a simple excercise in logic for Bhodisattava. Refrain from pedo insinuations and post. Fail, and do not post. I did not require him to stop posting about me, be it insults, complaints, threats to have me fired / thrown in an insane asylum, whatever. No, it was a simple, if you do this one specific thing, you will get a temporary vacation from posting. He chose to continue.

Some of you disagree with my reasoning. So noted. You know my boss's e-mail address, feel free to send complaints there.

So, let me get this straight, suggesting a proclivity for buggery with under-developed spuds is right out, but insinuating that we have personally seen photographs (the pedigree of which can not accurately be ascertained) of the wombat champion snorting coke lines off the naked *** of a trans-sexual prostitute with the donkey visible in the background waiting to drop a load down said wombat boy's throat is ok?

In that case id probably just nuke the post (about anyone, not just myself). Things like that trip work web filters where gaming sites alone will not...

One of you would be able to respond to something like that with something along the lines of "So how is your 'wife' anyways, she doesn't write?", but i'm pretty sure I would get yelled at if I go there.

Well, that's just bad form on the part of the administration not allowing you to make fun comments in the asylum.

But really, you should open up the image tag some time...

You'd think after all these years you could level that Ranger past 24.

Boo hoo. This is the asylum. If you don't like it, go troll the other forums. There are more than enough administrators to manage this small section of the site, so if you can't stand the heat, then don't post here.

Why are any insults off limits? Moreover why do you get to decide what is "Too faint for even the not so faint at heart?" Exactly what is your job anyhow? Does it apply directly to the asylum or could you just stuff it up your rear end and just go post somewhere else. There are, after all plenty of forums in which you could post and never, ever have to *Gasp* deal with someone talking about getting a full body wax and dressing up like a boy scout.

It just makes you come off as an over sensitive @#%^.

Also, I would never sink to emailing Allakhazam. Snitching to your boss would have me acting as hopelessly pathetic as you are right now.

By the way, take all this as nicely as you can...I would hate to get mute button placed on me.
