I got the following for my wife:

- an i-Pod station to turn her i-Pod into a little stereo system (with speakers and woofer). It's a big hit with her.

- collection of bath & bodyworks shower soaps and gels - I don't know what the hell is in there, to be honest. Smells good though!

- Box of Godiva chocolate biscuits and candy

- a "Day of Beauty" where she can get all her girlie beauty needs taken care of: manicure, facial (not the kind you're thinking of, pervs), pedicure, etc.

She got me an X-Box 360, Gears of War game, and a comfy bathrobe.

So what did you get for your significant other? Hmm? Hmmmm?

I got my girlfriend chocolates. I defend this decision by not having much money and knowing that her birthday is in early January. I'll get her something really good then.

I had no idea how much Hair Straighteners can cost till this holiday season. Smiley: yikes

Other than that;

Bose iPod station
A box of assorted smelling candles
A box of chocolates (which she liked the most, go figure)
A white gold bracelet
and a kitten (she has fallen Smiley: inlove with my cat and wanted one of her own)

For the holidays, I got outshone in gifts, but I hope the fact that I bought an engagement ring instead of buying super awesome cool presents this year makes up for it. Whenever she gets here to let me ask the bob-damned question, that is. Smiley: motz

Jonwin and I went for matching Headsets, so we can join in the guild chat. Now I just have to figure out why his mic isn't working still. Guy who build the computer for him2 years ago, had no idea of what gamers need in even a bare bones rig.

I got my hubby a gift certificate at his favorite record store (he's so particular I'm afraid to try to buy him actual records). The record shopping trip will be followed by a dinner date at one of our favorite greek resturaunts.

Hubby put a ribbon on the 20" Widescreen monitor that he bought for me on Black Friday. Then he made like he didn't get me anything when we'd agreed to get something small for each other. He'd hidden We <3 Katamari under the couch. Woot! I got him clothes and belts.

I got thehusbandguy a German Shepherd puppy and he got me a Long Haired Chihuahua puppy. So I guess we purchased unconditional love ("dog is faithful") for each other. Cheap at even twice the price.

Then we got small random things, but he got me a vanity table to sit at when I need to get ready to go some where. It was sweet because with how poor my health has been, I can't stand at the mirror in the bathroom long. He also scored mega points with MAH BUNNEH SLIPPERS!

Do they growl? I think he should only get mega points if they growl.

A Boob job.

Seriously, I'm not joking. I don't know why, but she's been kind of insecure about them. I thought they were fine though, but thought it's what she wanted. So I've chipped in some of the money for it, and so have her parents.

In a way, I guess it's a present we can both enjoy.

I gave Mlle Flea a GPS system for her car, some pyjamas, some perfume (along with the free gift make-up bag thingie) and a couple months of NetFlix. She got me an MP3 player & car radio transmitter (got it early) a couple computer games and some weighty reference books so I can be an even bigger geek Smiley: grin

I gave her the GPS the night before we left for Virginia and it got us here from Chicago in one piece so it must know what it's doing.

I've gotten her some nice earrings (nothing too fancy or expensive, as she doesn't wear jewelry often), some Bath and Body Works stuff, a little daily calendar in French because she's taking French next semester, and I've also come up with the crazy idea of making a little certificate that she can redeem for one day, on which I will become her slave, for lack of a better term. Who knows how it will turn out? I think she'll enjoy it though Smiley: tongue. I also bought her Yoshi's Island DS a little while ago as an early present for her to enjoy while she was traveling for the holidays.

I just can't wait till this weekend when I will actually be able to give it to her (she's been visiting her dad for the last few weeks and I haven't had a chance to see her).

I've already gotten her xmas present though... she paid for my Wii when I preordered it a month and a half ago. I of course bought her her own Wii-mote as an early xmas gift.
