Well, since hubby and I bought a PS3, Wii, laptop, digital camcorder and a digital camera before Christmas, we agreed that we wouldn't buy any gifts for each other. However, our kids came out like bandits. Went down to San Diego for the weekend and they got everything under the sun, including a PSP (we already have 2), a Karoake machine, toys, clothes and a few hundred in cash.

I got two robes, a bunch of book series that will last me for a few weeks, and a margarita maker "to look forward to" for when I can start drinking again. I also got a journal to write down any memories, big or small, about my kids, which is something I wanted for awhile now. All in all good stuff =)

Hubby got a fire pit for the patio. Now we can burn our Christmas tree! Yay!

Cool! I hate when I have to burn it right there in the living room.

    Short list...

    A T.J. Houshmandzadeh jersey,
Minnesota Vikings headwrap, gloves, and earmuffs,
    A Maria Sharapova wall calendar,
    A new, huge, terrycloth bathrobe,
A coffee mug with assorted Hersheys chocolates,
    $235.00,
And 2 paid days off of work. Not really a very good haul. Oh, and I got to cook Christmas dinner.

A compound sliding mitre saw! Whootles.

Oddly enough, not a single thing geeky or climbing related. It was actually kinda nice. Lots of cooking stuff though. A couple of small cast iron skillets from some deserts I like to make for company and a wok. Maybe now I'll be able to try and make pad thai.
