But isn't that the essential problem, everything the Asylumites hate about the OOT, essentially is stuff that exists equally in measure in the Asylum. In the end, we're all the same kind of asstards constructing illusionary heirarchies for the sake of protecting our narcissism.

No, hun. If you can't figure out the main difference between the Asylum and OOT posters, we can't help you. I've been ignoring this thread, hoping it would die off but it seems some of you think you could make it around here.
If you have to ask why someone is "mean" or "flames" you, you aren't Asylum material.
If you think Niwhorebia is cute or funny, you aren't asylum material.
If you think having umpteen posts about "whats playing on your IPOD right now" doesn't make you gay, you're not Asylum material.
If you willingly read any post started by Coddy, you're not Asylum material.
I could go on, but there are so many pitfalls of the OOT I'm afraid I'd crash the brand new servers if I mentioned them all.

*clap* Yeah yeah. I'm an OoTer. I'm not from Asylum, but I definitely have to agree with this.
The difference between OoTers and Asylumites is very simple. It's a difference in taste. I have to admit, I'm afraid of getting flamed here. I know I'm not a regular and am relatively unknown even to the OoTers so I'm one of the first people that will be kicked into my place. My reaction from this proverbial kick is the exact thing that distinguishes me as a person part of one group or another.
My reaction once it happens will be to promptly stop posting here once again until I find something that compels me to post again. This says "I am not Asylum material." I have accepted that and that is what most people will do. Accept it. But there are the few of the OoTers that feel the need to validate themselves and will keep this "war" alive until they have finally felt like they won. And to them, I wish them luck even if I feel like it's a fruitless attempt.
Asylum is like a caged lion. Anyone that posts here, that is not an accepted regular is just a little kid running a stick over the bars. Would you have it any other way tho? Anyone that's ******* about Asylum being a unfriendly mean bunch of ppl, (myself included in the past) has to really think "hmmm, why did I come here in the first place?" Why, because you were bored, and were hoping for:

If you came expecting A. as your answer, skip off too OOT, and or Unicorn. Apparently, Asylum is where old crotchety nerds go to die :P, and as soon as one of them kicks the bucket there will be another "meanie" waiting to take their place :) So don't ***** about Assylum posters being a bunch of asshats, their doing us a favor by providing entertainment! Think about how boring it would be if Asylum turned into something nice! "Alla" knows the server's can only handle one "Unicorn" forum :P
