Who do you loathe seeing at holiday time?

Your great Uncle David with his halitosis?

That girl from high school, the one with the high pitched squeal, that you always run into in the supermarket? (O..M...G...How are YOU???)

Your cousin Gary, his kids and all their moms.

There's gotta be someone. Spill it.

I'm really fucking hungry right now. I wish I could have a Tare and Nexa sammich.

Now that's out of the way, I hate people in general, so I don't really want to see anyone, unless they are hot nekked wimmins.

Still really hungry!

Met my old lover in the grocery store
The snow was falling, Christmas Eve...
I stole behind her in the frozen foods
And I touched her on the sleeve

So now I have that in my head for the rest of the day.

I met my old lover
On the street last night
She seemed so glad to see me
I just smiled
And we talked about some old times
And we drank ourselves some beers
Still crazy after all these years
Still crazy after all these years

It took a while, but she looked in the mirror,
And she glanced at the license for my name.
A smile seemed to come to her slowly,
It was a sad smile, just the same.
And she said, "How are you Harry?"
I said, "How are you Sue?
Through the too many miles
and the too little smiles
I still remember you."

I hate you guys. Now it's stuck in my head too. Smiley: frown

Edit:
Smiley: disappointed

And I'm disappointed because I thought this was going to be a holiday themed CJ.

Well just cause I am in a bit of a pissy mood, I could be really ornery and say Dracoid. Smiley: sly

But I haven't met him in person and we got along great on MSN. I was thinking taking him to the Revolution bar for dance and drink my be a highlight! Smiley: yippee

My Christmases aren't what they used to be, so I really don't see many people any more. One cousin has spent years letting me know how much smarter etc etc her son was than mine, and made sure remind me he was 6 months younger than Trey also.

Amazing isn't it? Her son dropped out of school in 7th grade, my son has already taken college courses at 15. Maybe I should sent her a card Smiley: rolleyes

The worstestest part of any holiday in my life, is seeing the ex-husband and knowing he hick-i-fies my daughter more each time she visits him.

A&P has provided me
With the world's smallest turkey
Already in the oven, nice and hot
Oh damn! Guess what I forgot?

So on with the boots, back out in the snow
To the only all-night grocery,
When what to my wondering eyes should appear
In the line is that guy I've been chasing all year!

"I'm spending this one alone," he said.
"Need a break; this year's been crazy."
I said, "Me too, but why are you?
You mean you forgot cranberries too?"

Then suddenly we laughed and laughed
Caught on to what was happening
That Christmas magic's brought this tale
To a very happy ending!

Honestly, I've had my ups and downs with certain members of my family, but I can't hate on Christmas. Maybe it's because I don't live at home anymore, but I really miss all of them and can't wait to see them.

Try being more shallow and vindictive, making things up helps too and with enough booze you can convince yourself the things you made up really happend and before you know it you can hate them at christmas as well as the rest of the year.

You better make sure they toss us lightly. Between DSD and Tare's swollen mommymammaries and Thumb and DF's regular funpillows, somebody's gonna put my eye out.

I have an entire side of the family that I hate seeing during the holidays. I avoid it at all costs. The only time I run into them is when someone dies. They are like a huge flock of black sheep.

Thankfully I have no idea what that song is. The only Paul Simon song I know is the one about the bodyguard and the long lost pal. Good song that.
