Since everybody will look in here, let me posit that Barkingturtle is actually Thundra IRL. I have gone back and looked at the writing styles and determined there is an eerie similarity between the two, not to mention T liked to disappear and return under various nics at times.

I started out figuring the same and then decided I didn't care one way or the other.
If nothing else, Thundra as BT was a Thundra less likely to go off on shaggy dog stories with a weak tie-in at the end. Assuming they were one and the same, of course.
