Sorry Joph.

You know, for all the whining about maternity leave and whatnot, you'd think that the sprog wasn't your crotchfruit too. Maybe if you'd get off your *** once in a while and change a nappy or pick up your socks women would have more time for workin'.

Maybe them barefoot and pregnant wimmenz should only prepare dinner for themsleves and the kid and you all can have the leftovers and scraps. See how YOU like it!

better?
Is this Nobby's sock?

Can't possibly be - I'm speechless after your comment.

It was "sprog" that did it. I think the only other time I've ever seen that word was in a Bridget Jones book.

And here I was hoping that crotchfruit would be the standout. Damn, back to the drawing board.

End of story.

Yeah, honey, that's all very "let me roll over and present my soft white underbelly" modern-day politically correct of you and all, but the issue here is paying women the same wage as men for the same job. Assume for the moment that all other things are equal, except of course that the women don't have a big cOck for you to suck on.

Regarding sick days, that's what I have them for. If my kid is sick, I'm going to stay home. I don't have a magic supply of babysitters who stay home all day waiting to see if they need to watch my kid and the usual suspects (mother, sister, daycare person) either have day jobs or else are watching other kids who probably don't want to contract my son's illness.

If you'd like, I can bring in my little darling to vomit on your desk Smiley: smile

Not to mention unpaid. The only guarantee you get is that you have your job back if you return after 12 weeks

Yipes, I totally missed that nonsense. Samira said it best but I feel I must add. HED - did your man give you permission to post on here, or did he just use your account and write it himself?

I would have no problem with women getting equal pay when they stop complaining about men acting like men. Stop making men take down their bewbie posters, have to tiptoe around a sexist joke, and have to be afriad of making eye contact out of fear of a sexual harassment lawsuit and I will be the first in like to get you babymakers equal pay.

You can;t say you want to be the same as us, then make us change everything we do because it offends your delicate sensibilities.

It always floors me when people can't tell the difference between manners and equality. The fact that you're a man doesn't give you the right to act however you want simply because it's in your gene pool. Your post only makes sense if you're thirteen.

Something tells me you got your audience wrong here. Name ONE Allafemme would couldn't outdo you at sexual harassment. One who would wouldn't be admiring your bewbie poster. And one that would mince coyly around the office for fear of attracting the unwanted attention of men.

Actually I didn't know that, not suprising considering how bad I am with the whole math thing.

And it could just be 90 days I guess. Unless they take vacation in conjunction with it.

Yeah, this becomes the typical company trying to cover its *** re: liability problem. You know, the "something might offend someone and we don't want to deal, so let's just suck the fun out of everything" drill.

Ohh, you are right. I am sorry. I forgot that the sweeping generalizations and references to all women as "you" meant it was a tirade directed only at the women who post here.

And I think you have the wrong idea of the audience here. Name ONE Allafeem that would put up with sexual harassment. Name one that would deal with a misogynist. You seem to view them as willing to be coquettish eye candy, while I think they would be much more likely to try to flip their man over and give it to them with a strap-on.

edit: durrrr Celcio can't read.

As for the rest. On the contrary, I view the Women of Alla as incredibly strong-minded, iron-willed women who would likely handle the situation themselves rather than crying to a manager. I also believe that they're reasonable enough to deal with relatively minor things (seriously, who reports bewbies pics or off-color jokes?) but quite able to stand up for themselves when it crosses the line.

I hope to hell you never slip in coffee and break your neck. Because lets face it, your employer doesn't OWE YOU any Workmen's Comp. Neither do TAX PAYERS. They should just can your ***, when your neck is better, you can have a job.

For you to even decry that the Family Medical Act isn't a good thing proves exactly why you're an idiot.
---------------------------------------------------------

1. the familey leave act was cancelled in 2001, right after bush took office.

2. if i PLANNED on sliping in coffee on my break, your damn right, i wouldnt deserve a dollar. adn if i PLANNED on taking 3 to 5 months off to pamper my foot after slipping on it and well after it was healed, your damn right, i wouldnt deserve a dollar.

you want a job? then PLAN on working.

you want a job AND a baby? then PLAN on day care or a nany.

the key word is PLAN. dont sit there whinning about not getting more then expecting your boss and co-workers to pick up YOUR slack because you didnt PLAN on covering for your PLANNED needs.

want equal pay, expect equal WORK. the 60 to 80 hour a week type, 52 weeks a year. the F.A.A. is ******** up bug time. if tey actually achjieve making the work force 50/50 men and women, they can PLAN on 10 to 15 percent of the work force to be out on extended leave and picking up the tab for it by paying for overtime to fill the gap.

I'm not even sure why it's public knowledge what everyone makes. As long as I feel I am getting paid fairly for the work I do, then I don't care what everyone else makes. It's none of my business.
