As a late entry into this thread, I am not afraid to admit that I am pretty lost. To be honest I am not really sure why this thread and the it's sister thread in the OOT have been posted.

Rime I know you don't like the Asylum and we all know that most poster's here do not like the OOT and it's frequent posters. What I don't know is why we had try and start a meaningless "fight" between the two when it is already clear each side wants to be left alone.

I can also say that while it does bother me that when I have tried to post here in the past just to be ignored or pushed to the side. I can look at how most of us treat new posters in the OOT and how we do the same thing to them. I also have not been posting much at all lately due to the fact in the OOT most threads are getting boring, and redundant. Occasionally I wander over hear to read and lurk because the "NO U" and such things that fill the OOT make me want to fall asleep while I am at work.

Rime I usually enjoy your threads here on Allakhazam but these "Forum War" threads just did not deliver. I don't know if it is because it did not get the response you were hoping for. Or if it is just the people you are trying to call out are caring about this topic less and less. So all in all both of these threads were pretty boring to read, I just hope in the future when you try to insight a forum riot you plan it out a little better. Just my Smiley: twocents, and no hard feelings.

Dammit Totem, I happened to read that as I was drinking my SoBe drink. Snorted it right out of my nose onto my keyboard. Well played, sir, well played. Smiley: clap

You pretty much answered your own question, ******** That and *********** has a hardon for the people here and likes to beg for attention in a manner that makes him look like an *** because he can't accomplish the same thing by being entertaining or interesting. So, instead he tries to be annoying. Kind of like that kid on the playground that steals the kick ball just so people will talk to him. The asskicking that is recieved afterwards is a small price to pay for a little human contact in his eyes and as such validates the entire situation.

Try new SoBe sinus wash. Guaranteed to clean even the most clogged of sinuses.

SoBe Sinus Wash may cause sinus bleeding, mild to sever headache, brain cancer (only found to occur in people who actually have a brain), convulsions, and mental retardation. If mental retardation last more than an hour consult a physician and begin posting in the OOT forums.

That is an interesting way to put it but I will accept that answer, thanks for clearing that up for me. But after the kick ball players receive their ball back does the person seeking attention continue to steal the ball? And if so how many times does he have get his *** kicked before he learns his lesson?

Of course, but not before trying to sit with them at lunch and getting his dessert stolen and his bread thrown at him before being kicked out. Rarely is the lesson ever learned and these behavior patterns continue into adulthood with a constant approval seeking attitude for the rest of their lives. At work they are called "yes-men", in their love lives they are called "poosay-whipped", in their social lives they are usually highly inept, have very few friends, and are often anti-social. I'm sure you know people like this.

Indeed I do know people like this, my boss comes to mind in fact. Hell even my wife would fall into a few of those categories. So since the lesson is rarely learned, is that the reason that he did not get the reaction out of the Ayslumites that he expected to get?

Thank you for the compliment Jacob, I am not trying to troll however I am bored and stuck at home since I was not feeling well enough to go to work today. It's part of that "a medical professional should not go to work sick, in fear of getting the patients sick" thingy.

Why not? Sick patients = more business.

I've yet to understand the logic behind that statement. I often hear it from idiots who somehow believe their pleasant disposition compensates for flawed intellect. I find it curiously puzzling when the assumption that perceived morality has anything to do with character.

You mean with all that intellect you still havn't worked out the whole "logic" thing? Some people measure their worth on how much money they make and how they can feel superior to others. The rest of us just want to be remembered more than 15 minutes after we die (and not hatefully I might add)

Wouldn't it be "logical" not to come in here and poke the proverbial hornet's nest?

And calling people "mean *****" will, more likely, get you remembered hatefully. Smiley: tongue

No, I mean I don't understand how you can think that being nice makes up for being stupid. Sort of like how a fat girl thinks that having a good personality makes up for stuffing Twinkiesâ„¢ down her throat. The same goes for ugly people. I don't personally make any correlation between money and character, but I imagine it must suck for you to be both poor and stupid; however the two generally do accompany each other so you aren't in the minority at least. If it would make you feel better, you can go kill yourself right now and in 20 minutes I'll make a post here saying "Hey guys, you remember that stupid, poor guy that was really nice? Yeah, that guy was allright."
