And all I got was a hundred bucks and a book about cheese. That's right, cheese. The title escapes me, I'll have to check tomorrow as I left it at work. It's supposed to be one of those motivational books about rolling with the changes at work etc etc.

Anyways, did anyone else get a bonus this year?

My christmas bonus was the fact that the boss shut the office down until January 2nd. Two weeks vacation that I completely didn't expect, gotta love it!

My bonus will be getting fired when I refuse to show up and work Christmas and Christmas eve. No way I am working evening shift on either of those days. WE don't actually get any money, CSX (railroad) is the most uncaring company out there. The officials have actually been known to a dead man and fire them. Man in the machine shops got crushed and instantly killed by a large piece of equipment. Foreman walked up to him and said "Your Fired" Then they called for a ambulance etc. This was several years ago though (as in 30 years ago). Point being it shows the type of company that are.

Sometimes the union sends us a gift card, but thus far I haven't seen one.

I got cheap-a$$ steak knives. I'd like to plant one deep in the back of those bastards in admin who are trying to gip me out of my seniority and vacation. As it is, I have worked so much this year that I topped out on vacation accrual and stopped earning any more vacation till the New Year. Wtf is that all about? I work extra shifts to help the company fill gaps in scheduling and lose all vacation time since the second week of September? Between that and the on-going dispute about when I was hired (two years ago or twelve years ago) this place sucks sweaty a$$ smelling balls.

Ho ho ho.

I don't get a Christmas bonus, but I get better than average benefits the rest of the time so I don't fret about it too much. Would be nice to have the money though!

No Christmas bonus for me. We did get a catered Holiday party, but having 80% of your patients be medicare and the other nonpaying is a ***** when it comes to turning a profit.

$330.00 gross bonus for me. Which is less then 1% of my yearly salary.

or .0001% of what the Owner's six figure bonus was.

I just work in the wrong industry and also the fact that my boss cares nothing about his employees simply adds to the dismal atmosphere.

Luckily I have a wonderful wife who owns part of a business that cares about it's 7 employees. Her bonus was more then my yearly salary!

I married a sugar momma! FTW!!!!

P.S. Except most of it went into retirement accounts so we won't see it for another 25 years or so...

My boss's secretary outlawed all formal Christmas parties a few years before I started here. Something about the boss getting drunk and hitting on some of the other office girls. She didn't care for that since she has been his little mistress for the last 40 years. Have to love small office drama.

My pay is a percentage of the fees that I charge over the course of the year. My bonus is usually several thousand dollars since I keep my salary lower during the year. It is usually burnt up buying Christmas gifts and paying for real estate taxes.
