Dear Diary...Follow

Inspired by some song I heard, yet another poll by Jophiel.

Assume that you have a significant other if you don't already and that, in the course of life, you come across a small book and, opening it, discover that it is obviously a diary/journal being kept by them. You are in no danger of being discovered if you spend 10-15min leafing through it and the page you had opened to has your name on it.

I'd read it. If the diary wasn't meant to be checked out, it'd be locked, hidden, or simply unwritten, but then I'd prolly buy an identical blank book and put it where I found it just to mess with Mrs. Totem's head.

Luckily for me and my conscience, Flea's diary would probably be written in Spanish and I wouldn't have enough time to enter it into Babelfish.

I wouldn't read it - not because it'd be a breach of trust but because I prefer to live in a persistent state of denial.

If I was your girlfriend I'd be so offended that you didn't want to take the effort to get to know more about me.

I'd do it. Of course, I'd expect her to do the same.

To be honest, I'd *expect* my name to be in it. I'd read that page for sure. It would be seeing some other girl's name in it that would result in the full read and analysis.

I'd read it, because I'd want to see what kind of crap he's spewing about not being able to trust me, how I never give him his space, yadda yadda yadda.

Note to self: Keep super secret diary, erm, journal, erm, author's notes for upcoming memoirs hidden safe from Flea.
