I'll be doing the last minute thing again this year. Had a few unexpected expenses a while back, so that put me behind. Besides, you can sometimes find some really good deals right before Christmas.

I did that one year, and never again. Not the way I wrap.

I used to wrap like that.

Then I had kids.

Is there more to wrapping than throwing something in a gift bag and covering it with colored tissue paper?

Mom, Dad, Baby #1, Baby #2, Sister, and Ex-wife complete. That just leaves Brother-in-law, nephew, and the bartenders for whom I will be shopping on Thursday evening.

I will also be going to the mall on Sunday. I have no intention of buying anything, rather I will just be people watching, standing in people's way, and just generally loitering about while surrounded by the chaos.

Oh, and wrapping. I just get one layer of paper over the gift and then run the tape around it once in each direction. Looks like ****, but it's effective.

Finished gift buying last night. Go me!

Everything "from me" is wrapped and under the tree aside from some gifts for my nephew but we won't be exchanging until the 30th. I need to wrap the "Santa" gifts for my kid.

Thanks Flea, I now have a new Flavorite Nerd site. I going to have to wait until after Christmas to get myself a new action figure though.

Today will be spent going over what gifts we already bought through the year and seeing who we may have missed. Then it's time to start wrapping gifts and making the gift tags. Maybe I'll think to scan the tags before I give them away, this year. Some of the drawings were keepers and after I die may be worth something.

No artist expects to make money before they die.
