In one hour, in channel #contest on Allakhazam IRC, I will be holding our first Allakhazam Christmas Contest. There will be 20 questions asked ranging from easy to wtfhard and it will include questions about your admins, the Allakhazam.com site, and the community in general.
I will be in the channel from now until contest time and you will need to PM me to say you wish to participate. I will then ask the questions and the first person to answer correctly in #contest on my screen will be awarded a point for that question. The person with the most points at the end will win a small gift from me (box of chocolate covered macadamia nuts) and a special contest winner title on the forums for the remainder of the year. In the event of a tie, we will have a tiebreaker round.
Some of the questions will require you to find out certain things about mobs or zones in a random game Allakhazam covers, so use this hour to "study" the menus on various so that you know where to click should the need arise.
I know the prize really isn't much, but this is more for fun than anything else. Good luck and I hope to see lots of you participating!

Some of the questions included "who is user number 1000000" and I think another was "what's the first mob ever added to EQ in zone number 248?" and stuff like that.
The really tough one was "when was premium services introduced to allakhazam?"
The question that had us search for a picture of Danalog was my confidence booster, as my computer room is a shrine to Dana and I had a link posted in under two seconds.
